A college basketball game was delayed Thursday night after players on one team became trapped in an elevator.

Firefighters rushed to the scene to rescue the players.
In the end they achieved it and the game could begin.
In last year’s NCAA Tournament, No. 16 seed Fairleigh Dickinson pulled off a stunning upset of No. 1 seed Purdue.

They finally lost to Florida Atlantic in the round of 32.
The Knights were 11-14 overall entering Thursday’s game.
Meanwhile, LIU entered the game with a 6-17 record.
