An urgent search has been launched for a teenager who went missing from a train station in Sydney’s west.
Christina Avakian, 15, was last seen at Fairfield train station, 30 kilometres west of central Sydney, at about 4.30pm on Sunday.
CCTV footage shows the teenager walking along the train station platform wearing a black T-shirt and black shorts.
She was reported missing after her family was unable to locate or contact her when she failed to return home.
“Police and family are concerned for his welfare due to his age,” a NSW Police spokesman said.
Christina is described as being of Caucasian appearance, approximately 165cm tall, with a medium build and long brown hair.
Police said the 15-year-old is known to frequent the Fairfield, Macquarie Fields and Campbelltown areas.
