Facebook announced Friday that it would maintain the suspension of former President Donald Trump’s participation in the social media site for another two years — until January 2023.
The company responded in a statement after his oversight board announced Trump’s suspension from Facebook and Instagram, but without giving an end date.
It cited the “gravity” of the behavior that bumped him in the first place, after flagging his repeated allegations of electoral fraud and other problems.
