Lately, some of Here at WIRED Gear, we’ve become obsessed with AirPods cases. Not just any cases, but ones that look like sneakers, candy, suitcases, cell phones, and even cans of Spam, allowing us to show off our personality. Yes, I love Spam so much that I’d carry a can of it with me at all times. Are these cases as charming, durable, and protective in person as they look online? To find out, we tested several from Apple’s headphone lineup. Here are our favorite eccentric cases for the standard AirPods (first, second, and third generation) and the AirPods Pro (first and second generation). We’ll continue to test more in the coming months.
