Kate Middleton, Princess of Wales, is expected to take a significant step towards healing the ongoing rift between her husband Prince William and brother-in-law Prince Harry now that she has completed her preventive chemotherapy, according to a royal expert . Katie Nicholl.
talking to the sun, Nicholl suggested that Kate’s recent health problems and cancer treatment may have given her a new perspective on life, potentially making her more open to reconciling with Harry despite his public criticism of her and the royal family.
“Harry has criticized Kate, he has said hurtful things about her, he has included the children in the narrative.” Nicholl explained. “I think the Prince of Wales is still very, very angry and upset and feels very betrayed.”
However, Nicholl also noted that Kate could still be open to reconciliation. “Possibly the Princess of Wales is still open to a reconciliation in some form. “I still feel like it’s pretty early.” he added. The royal expert emphasized that after facing her own health problems, Kate can realize the importance of family unity.
“But I do think that when you go through something like a cancer diagnosis and go through the kind of journey that she’s been on, and you’re faced with your own mortality, you realize that life is short. “It is too short for family divisions and disputes.” Nicholl said.
Additionally, Nicholl suggested that Kate could play a pivotal role in bridging the divide between the siblings, highlighting the symbolic importance of the royal family. “And maybe that’s a role she plays at some point in healing that divide because I think we look at the royal family as a symbol of unity,” he said.
As Christmas approaches, it will be the sixth year in a row that Harry has not been part of the royal celebrations. Nicholl believes the royal family’s image of togetherness will be crucial, saying: “We’ll want to see them together at Christmas… I think it’s important.”
Kate’s potential efforts to heal the rift between William and Harry could mark a new chapter for the royal family, emphasizing empathy and unity despite the challenges they have faced.
