Swift is enjoying rare downtime after capping the first two North American legs of her Eras Tour with six sold-out shows at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California.
Back-to-back broadcasts saw a number of A-list stars flock to the venue to watch Swift perform with an estimated 500,000 fans.
The tour kicked off in Glendale, Arizona in March and was scheduled to end in Los Angeles on August 9, but more shows in the United States and Canada are planned for next year.
Swift will travel to South America later this month to perform in Mexico, Argentina and Brazil through November.
Sheeran’s outing with Swift comes days after he revealed he had yet to make it on his superstar friend’s massively popular re-recorded music series.
During an interview on Andy Cohen’s Deep & Shallow SiriusXM podcast on Monday, he told the host that he and Swift had not discussed the possibility of re-recording their 2017 single End Game for future release.
‘No, I didn’t. No no. But, 1989 (Taylor’s Version) is the next to come out. It’s next,” the Grammy-winning musician said.
The song, which also features rapper Future, was originally featured on Taylor’s 2017 hit album Reputation.
The topic came up after Cohen, 55, asked Sheeran if he was planning on seeing Swift and Beyoncé’s concerts for their respective tours, which coincidentally take place at the same time as the English musician’s Subtract tour.
Sheeran expressed his desire to attend one of the Eras Tour concerts and shared how much he appreciates the individuality of his fellow musicians’ concerts.
“I think what’s great about everyone’s show is that everyone’s show is so individual to them. And everyone has a different show,” he explained to Cohen.
