EXCLUSIVE: MAFS’ Jack Dunkley’s ex-girlfriend Courtney confirms she was invited to crash the show’s reunion – after being asked to attend as another groom’s plus one

Daily Mail Australia can reveal there were plans for Jack Dunkley’s ex-girlfriend Courtney Jade to appear on the new season of Married At First Sight.

According to a well-placed source, another boyfriend slid into Courtney’s Instagram messages in late October to try to convince her to attend the show’s reunion.

“Another boyfriend was desperate to try and catch Jack off guard and spent weeks trying to get the cast to convince Courtney to crash the dinner,” the source revealed.

“They loved the idea of ​​getting rid of Jack and wanted him to go down.”

“Several cast members, including Mike Felix, also played a role in trying to get her to appear on the show, but she wasn’t having any of it,” they added.

Speaking to Daily Mail Australia on Thursday, Courtney confirmed that different people had approached her with offers, but she wanted nothing to do with the show.

Another snap captures the duo at the Gold Coast airport, a throwback Courtney points out was captured just a week before Jack supposedly broke up, along with the caption: “Looking at Tori like this?”

“I don’t deserve to be portrayed the way I have been,” Courtney wrote.

“For something so significant to be ignored like it’s nothing… All I can do now is put on the armor and fight a battle I never wanted to.”

Jack, who is “married” to his girlfriend Tori Adams, denied speculation that he abandoned their serious relationship, stating that their romance was strictly casual and describing his ex as “a little crazy.”

This photographic evidence undermines Jack’s narrative that his relationship with Courtney was nothing serious, painting a picture of a bond that seemed anything but casual.

It comes after Courtney told Daily Mail Australia she felt distraught as her “marriage” unfolded on national television.

‘It has been a very difficult time in my life. One that I wouldn’t wish on anyone,” she said earlier this month.

“I hope this doesn’t continue to happen to other people. It was a horrible experience and it’s not something I want to talk about.”

She said she’s heartbroken because Jack is going to air dirty laundry about their breakup on the show.

“I hope you all enjoy some disgusting entertainment with my horrible breakup on Channel Nine,” he said.

“I have no comment on MAFS, so I would appreciate it if the media and all forms of communication would leave me alone.”

She also revealed her ongoing personal struggles following their bitter breakup, revealing that she was forced to take medication and regularly see a psychologist.

“I have been seeing a therapist and have been put on medication because of the disgusting trauma I have experienced and I would like to be left alone to heal,” she said.

Courtney explained that the fact that their breakup played out so publicly has made things much harder to process.

“It’s one thing to go through a breakup, but it’s another to have to relive it on national television and talk about it,” she added.
