Devastated Bijou Phillips is using crystal and chakra healing to help her come to terms with her husband Danny Masterson being given a long prison sentence for raping two women, DailyMail.com can reveal.
The That ’70s Show star, 47, was sentenced to 30 years to life in prison last week and is currently languishing in Los Angeles County Men’s Central Jail awaiting transfer to a state prison.
Phillips, 43, supported Masterson throughout his rape trial and broke down in tears upon hearing his sentence before sneaking out of court through a back door.
The mother-of-one, who lives on a small property in Santa Ynez, California, has now turned to holistic therapies to help her cope with the prospect of living without her husband and the stress of the procedure call, friends told DailyMail.com.
DailyMail.com can reveal Bijou Phillips turned to crystal and chakra healing to come to terms with Danny Masterson’s conviction.

Photos discovered by DailyMail.com show Bijou reading a book titled The Complete Guide to Crystal Chakra Healing in September 2021.

The photos, taken shortly after the actor’s arrest, show Bijou near her home in Santa Ynez reading the book.

Phillips, like Masterson, is a devoted Scientologist, but the controversial Church appears to have no problem with believers using crystals.
Phillips, who is the daughter of Mamas and Papas singer John Phillips, has used crystals before – photos recently discovered by DailyMail.com show her holding a book called The Complete Guide to Crystal Chakra Healing in September 2021.
The photos, taken shortly after the actor’s arrest, show her near her home with the tome hidden under her arm.
According to the blurb, the book, written by Phillip Permutt, offers “energy medicine for the mind, body and spirit.”
The pitch continues: “Crystals are natural energy boosters, which protect us by detoxifying our physical, emotional and spiritual systems from stress, thus promoting well-being and serenity.

According to the blurb, the book, written by Phillip Permutt, offers “energy medicine for the mind, body and spirit.”
“This book explains exactly how to use a crystal pendulum to diagnose the health of a chakra and how to use a multitude of healing techniques to gently rebalance the energy.
“With everything you need to know about crystals, plus step-by-step charts, photographs and illustrations, exercises and case studies, The Complete Guide to Crystal Chakra Healing will guide you to better health and, ultimately, a calmer, happier life. life,” he says.
Phillips, like Masterson, is a devoted Scientologist and the controversial Church appears to have no problem with believers using crystals.
Scientologists do believe that they possess their own “repressed” powers that can be unleashed if they live their lives according to a set of pseudo-scientific practices called Dianetics, invented by founder L. Ron Hubbard.
But the darker side of Scientology was on full display throughout Masterson’s trial, with both victims saying they felt unable to speak out after he raped them, for fear of retaliation.
The notoriously litigious church is currently under investigation by federal authorities for alleged attempts to infiltrate the government and has question marks hanging over it due to the continuing mystery over the whereabouts of Shelly, the wife of frontman David Miscavige, who disappeared in 2007.
Actress Leah Remini, a former Scientologist who left in 2013, is suing the church and Miscavige for what she describes as years of harassment. She was in court to hear Masterson’s sentencing while Phillips heard it surrounded by other Scientologists.

Bijou accepts the prospect of raising her child alone after her husband, 47, was found guilty of two counts of rape in a Los Angeles court in May.

Last week, friends told DailyMail.com that Phillips “couldn’t accept” that her husband was a convicted rapist, while her lawyer Shawn Holley said he planned to appeal.
A source close to Phillips told DailyMail.com: “Bijou’s only positive outlook on things comes from her confidence in Danny and the appeal process.
“She clings to the fact that she is completely convinced that he never did what he was accused of, she cannot accept that this is true. And she is counting on the appeal process to ensure that justice be done.
“Danny is adamant he hasn’t done anything wrong and Bijou believes him. Her other thoughts are a little more frightening and morbid: she doesn’t believe Danny will harm himself in prison, but she is very afraid that someone one hurts him or even kills him and the stress it brings to her is her own level of stress that she has never felt before.
“It’s a nightmare, but she will be by his side moving forward and will continue to be there for their daughter.”
Masterson – now prisoner number 6614941 – had two rape trials, the first ending in a mistrial after a different jury found itself hopelessly deadlocked on all three rape charges.
“He was released on $3.3 million bail in both cases, but that freedom ended with his double conviction on May 31.
In court last week, Masterson’s victims tearfully recounted how he ruined their lives.
“You are pathetic, disturbed and extremely violent and the world is safer with you in prison,” said Jane Doe #2, looking directly at the actor, who was dressed in a gray suit and gray collared shirt open.
“You are a truly cowardly, heartless monster,” added Jane Doe #1. “I think life is an appropriate sentence.”
His accusers – who DailyMail.com identifies only as Jane Does – are former Scientologists and are also suing the actor and the Church of Scientology in civil court, claiming they have been harassed and intimidated since they reported to the police.
A status hearing in this civil case is scheduled for September 26.

Bijou met Danny Masterton at a poker tournament in Las Vegas in 2004, almost twenty years ago.
Letters released by the court after the sentencing showed that Phillips, along with Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis, wrote letters to Judge Charlaine Olmedo asking for leniency.
In his, Phillips described him as a “life-saving partner” and described how he had “worked long days” on their ranch to make it profitable.
She concluded: “We need him more than you can imagine. I know he was convicted of serious crimes.
“But the man I married has been nothing but an amazing husband to me and a devoted father to our daughter.”
Kutcher and Kunis, who issued a groveling apology over the weekend after being criticized for their support of Masterson, had described him as an “exceptional person.”
Both have previously appeared alongside him in That 70s Show. Kutcher told the judge “I don’t believe he represents a permanent harm to society,” adding that “having his daughter raised without a father present” would be “a third injustice in itself.”
Kunis, for his part, spoke to Judge Olmedo about Masterson’s “exceptional character and the enormous positive influence he had on me and the people around him.”
