During the chat, Shane explained the craziest wedding moments he came across, the most common wedding requests he received, and how his new company takes the hassle out of finding the perfect wedding party for engaged couples.

“I have so many weddings and I want more! From marrying people on surfboards and stand-up paddleboards to under waterfalls, dressing up as Elvis or a medieval monk, ”Shane explained.

The father of three said he was lucky enough to marry one of the country’s first legal same-sex couples in 2017, travel abroad for destination ceremonies, and host the weddings of many Australian personalities.

However, he joked that there was a ceremony he chose to reject: “I was once asked to do a nude wedding.”

Of moments that shocked him at past ceremonies, Shane said, “There have been crazy moments from grooms passing out to grandmas with heart attacks, floods, and fires. You name it, it happened during or during a wedding. ‘

However, it was actually a shocking wedding trend that he noticed that inspired him in the first place to become a marriage mate.

“I noticed that ceremonies had no personality and nothing about the couple … some celebrants even forgot the name of the grooms, not once, but several times during the ceremony, and I just said to my wife, “I could do this,” said Shane.
