EXCLUSIVE: Biden’s granddaughters Maisy and Finnegan spotted in New York the day before he marked 9/11 in Alaska

Hunter Biden’s daughters Maisy Biden, 22, and Finnegan Biden, 23, were in New York on Sunday – as their grandfather Joe returned from Vietnam and prepared to mark the 9/11 anniversary away from the sites of ‘attack.

In photos obtained exclusively by DailyMail.com, Hunter and Kathleen Buhle’s two daughters were seen in New York on Sunday loading gym bags into a vehicle. Their eldest daughter Naomi Biden, 29, has not been seen with her two younger siblings.

Meanwhile, their grandfather, President Joe Biden, was noticeably absent from the town where two planes crashed into the World Trade Center towers 22 years ago on 9/11.

Biden instead commemorated the anniversary of the terrorist attacks during a plane refueling in Anchorage, Alaska, as he returned from a five-day trip to India and Vietnam.

Maisy and Finnegan are the daughters of Hunter Biden and Kathleen Buhle. Their older sister Naomi, 29, was not photographed in New York on Sunday with the two younger sisters.

Meanwhile, Biden held a bizarre press conference in Vietnam before heading to Anchorage, Alaska, where he marked 9/11 with his troops during a refueling event at a military base.

Families of 9/11 victims were furious at the snub as Biden on Monday became the first president since the attacks not to mark them from Washington, D.C. or one of the three crash sites – Ground Zero in New York; the Pentagon in Arlington, Virginia; and the grounds of Shanksville, Pennsylvania.

During their outing in New York over the weekend, Maisy was dressed in a white graphic tee, jeans and Adidas sneakers while Finnegan wore a black tee, red shorts and slippers.

Biden attended Maisy’s graduation from the University of Pennsylvania in May. She studied fine arts and appears to work in the visual arts industry in New York.

Finnegan works for his grandfather’s former chief rival, Mike Bloomberg, which the president revealed in November 2021 during a press conference in Glasgow, Scotland.

Her mother Kathleen Buhle confirmed on Instagram that Finnegan works at City with the caption: “Finny may be the second daughter, but we can all agree she’s the boss – well deserved!” I miss my daughter in New York right now and I want to shout that she is always in my heart. Here are the backgrounds!!’

Maisy graduated in May from the University of Pennsylvania with a degree in fine arts. She is considering a career in the visual arts.

Maisy appears to live in New York and works for one of Michael Bloomberg’s foundations.

Biden wasn’t in the Big Apple on Monday — but Vice President Kamala Harris was there at Ground Zero for the annual 9/11 memorial service.

The president angered the victims’ families on Monday by not going to New York or either of the other two crash sites.

Instead, Biden marked the 22nd anniversary of 9/11 by meeting with service members and first responders on Monday during the refueling of Air Force One in Anchorage, Alaska.

Also on Monday, Biden held a bizarre news conference in Vietnam where he once again addressed some of the potential liabilities that worry some Democrats because of concerns about his age and performance.

It featured a series of strange moments, including when Biden called on reporters from a prepared list. His press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre also interrupted the event, then returned briefly to speak to journalists while jazz music was played over a sound system.

He told a long story about a John Wayne movie in which he talked about cowboys and “Indians,” then returned to a story about the phrase “pony soldiers facing a lying dog” that he had used in the time and which he used before.

At the same time as the press conference, Finnegan and Maisy were spotted in New York.
