The wife and daughter of former mob boss John Gotti Jr were arrested for allegedly punching a woman in the face and ripping off her wig at a basketball game after the victim asked them to stop yelling profanities at the players.
Gianna Gotti, 23, and Kimberly Gotti, 55, were arrested Thursday night around 8:12 p.m. at Locust Valley High School in Long Island, New York.
Both were arraigned on one count of third-degree assault with intent to cause bodily harm to another person in Nassau County District Court Friday morning. They pleaded not guilty and were released.
The mother-daughter duo is accused of punching the victim in the face with a closed fist multiple times.
The victim suffered considerable pain to her scalp and scratches on both sides of her face, according to court documents obtained by DailyMail.com.

‘I asked the two guys to stop calling the children ‘f*** and p***’. At this moment, the unknown woman in gray ran towards me. The woman punched me and tried to grab my hat.
‘An unknown young woman in a red jacket started hitting me too. “Both unknown women continued to hit me,” she said.
“At that point, I started to feel my hair being pulled and then I felt the wig that was attached with three clips and Velcro fall off.
“I let my head go back and I felt like I was going to be scalped.”
The woman said the women continued to hit her and she suffered intense pain from the incident in which her wig was taken off. She also had scratches on her face.

Gotti’s mother and daughter will reappear in court on March 6.
