A former Manchester United winger has had his contract with a Turkish Super Lig club terminated after 10 months.
Nani, who spent eight years with the Red Devils, leaves Adana Demirspor Kulubu with immediate effect.
The former Portugal international signed for the Turkish national team in July 2023 on an initial one-year contract, with the option to extend.
However, his time at the club was cut short as the club is 11th in Turkey’s top flight with just two games remaining.
In a statement, the club said: ‘We have parted ways with Luis Nani by mutual agreement. We would like to thank Nani for his services and wish him success in his future career.’

Nani is best known for his time in Manchester, where he made 230 appearances for the Red Devils, scoring 41 goals and providing 71 assists in all competitions.
The fascinating winger won almost everything while at Old Trafford, playing a key role in one of Sir Alex Ferguson’s last golden eras in charge of United.
In just his first season at the club, he won both the Premier League and the Champions League.
Three more league titles followed, as well as two League Cups and a Club World Cup.
Nani’s time at United came to an end in 2015, although his last season at the club was spent on loan with the team he joined from, Sporting CP.
The Portuguese player has been at a good number of clubs since leaving Old Trafford, seven to be precise, including Fenerbahce, Valencia and Lazio.

The fascinating winger also enjoyed success for his country, Portugal, at Euro 2016.
His desire to win titles did not stop after his life in Manchester. In particular, he was successful with the country of it.
Nani started in the Euro 2016 final in which Portugal defeated France 1-0 after extra time. He even took the captain’s armband after Cristiano Ronaldo was forced to retire through injury.
Despite all his success, the former United player is not done yet. Now a free agent, Nani is not ready to leave the game and is looking for a new club.
