A shocking video has emerged showing former Inter Milan star Fredy Guarin covered in blood and arrested after a domestic disturbance at his parents’ home in Colombia.
The 34-year-old was reportedly confronted by police after he was accused of assaulting his own father and other family members on Thursday, according to Colombian newspaper El Pais.
A video released by BluRadio Colombia appears to show that Guarin is being dragged out of his parents’ garage by police, while his clothes are covered in blood.

The video appears to show Guarin being removed from his parents’ home by police
It is not yet clear whether the blood is his own or someone else’s.
The shocking clip appears to show Guarin yelling at a police officer while his red shirt appears to have been torn during the alleged incident.
A second video appeared on YouTube shortly afterwards of what appears to be Guarin is once again confronted by police and held on a stretcher outside a hospital in Medellin, while reports claim the midfielder aggressively demands not to be filmed.
According to the Colombian news center Semanapolice confirmed that Guarin had been arrested and ‘under the influence of substances’ after authorities received a call to domestic violence.

“He physically assaulted his parents, who asked to be taken away by the police,” said General Jorge Vargas.
The alleged incident comes days after Guarin asked his team Millonarios for some time off due to ‘personal issues’, according to Marca
Colombian journalist Guillermo Arango has reported that Millonarios will assist the player and provide him with all the help he needs.
Guarin joined Inter Milan in 2012 after spending time with Porto, Saint-Etienne and Boca Juniors in the years before.

The midfielder would perform 141 times in his four years at San Siro before being sold to Shanghai Shenhua in 2016.
He would spend three years in China before returning to South America two years ago to sign for Brazilian outfit Vasco da Gama.
However, his spell in Brazil ended after just a year, before returning to his home country of Colombia in January to sign for Millonarios.
