The new film in question will be released in March and is an “unofficial” sequel to a 2004 film that became something of a cult classic.

But can you guess who he is and who his famous father is?

It’s Arty, Danny Dyer’s son!
The 47-year-old star has revealed that his son will star alongside him in the upcoming comedy film Marching Powder.
While not an official sequel to The Football Factory, which the actor starred in 2004 as Tommy Johnson, a disillusioned 29-year-old who lives for weekend football games, it will follow a similar premise.
Two decades later, Danny is back in Tommy’s territory, but this time as a character named Jack, who has to change his life or face a stint in prison.
Arty plays Jack’s son JJ, and in a scene in the trailer, he picks him up from school and the boy asks him if his mother is having an affair.
The young man’s character said, “She said if you ever pick me up from school, it means she’s either dead or she’s run away from another man.”
Other glimpses see him joking around the house with his father while throwing candy into each other’s mouths and even sporting a face of makeup.
Speaking on his and his daughter Dani Dyer’s podcast, Live and let the dyersDanny revealed his excitement for the film’s release later this year, in which he plays party-loving Jack as he tries to turn his life around when facing a possible prison term.
Praising his co-star Stephanie Leonidas, who plays his character’s better half in the film, Danny also sensationally reveals that there is another co-star alongside him in Marching Powder who is dear to his heart: Arty.
‘She is a very strong woman in this. “I want to shout out to Steph, Steph Leonidas,” he said.

In a trailer for the film, which premiered in October, the 11-year-old appeared several times looking very different from his normal self.

“He’s so good at it,” Dani said, and Danny proudly added: “Yeah, he’s brilliant” (Arty and his dad Danny pictured).
—The little man is also in this. Ooh, that’s fucking exclusive, no one knows. Arty is on it. My son, my true son and heir.
“He’s very good at it,” Dani said, and Danny added proudly: “Yes, he’s brilliant.”
Speaking about the film in general, he joked: “I swear, this is something very, very different. You’ll see a lot of me in the press over the next few weeks.”
Danny explained that Marching Powder’s themes and story are more nuanced than its explicit trailer suggests.
“But yeah, it’s something I’m very, very proud of.” Because it is a love story; “It’s a working-class love story,” he says. “Classism exists and most romantic comedies never take place in a municipal housing estate. There’s Pride and Prejudice, there’s someone in fucking pants!’
For Danny, the film is more of a romantic comedy told from a working class perspective, raw and unfiltered, unlike other popular romantic comedies like Love Actually.
“You know, a love story where both the man and the woman tell each other c***, but in a loving way,” he added.
The trailer showed him shirtless looking at mountains of cocaine and fighting in the streets.

It has given a preview of what to expect and begins with actor Danny speaking to the camera with a suspicious substance in his hand while a group of men fight in the background.
He says: ‘I’m here to present my new film to you. It’s a lovely little romantic comedy called Marching Powder.
He then stops and shouts to the men: ‘Oi mate, oi mate, put down the pipe’, before smelling the suspicious substance.
However, the group behind him continues to argue, so he silences them by hitting them before adding to the camera, “Here’s the trailer for Marching Powder.” It’s a beautiful movie, very PG.
‘The film is about a couple trying to save their marriage, which is under strain due to the husband’s struggle with drugs and…’
At the beginning of the trailer, his character Jack Jones is in court, where the judge reprimands him for his bad behavior, including football fights and cocaine possession.
They tell him he has six weeks to turn his life around or he will be sent to prison, and Jack declares, “I’ve screwed it up.” My wife is leaving me. I have turned my son into a lunatic. My classmates think I’m boring.
‘My father-in-law is going to kill me! I know I can become a productive member of society. I’m going to make her proud.’

The Football Factory followed the story of two fictional groups of English football hooligans, the Headhunters, who support Chelsea, and the Bushwhackers, who support Millwall.
Danny’s character, Tommy, is a member of the Chelsea firm, whose life revolves around alcohol, drugs, womanizing and violence, but whose increasing nightmares make him question his life choices.
The film, which was loosely based on John King’s novel, received negative reviews from critics at the time, but became something of a cult classic.
The sequel has been titled Marching Powder, a euphemism for the cocaine loved by the characters.
Danny confirmed that he and director Nick Love reunited for a follow-up film in January on Instagram. He wrote: “Let the madness begin.”
He told fans: ‘Secrets come out. I’ll be working with The Football Factory director Nick Love again and I can’t wait.
‘Let’s hit the gunpowder, by the way, that’s the name of the movie. And it starts on January 15 and there will be more crime, drugs and serious ultraviolence.’
He concluded the exciting news: “And you’re going to love it, so Merry Christmas.”
