The man accused of murdering the Hollywood sex therapist Amie Harwick has been released from prison with a $ 2 million bail.
Gareth Pursehouse, 41, was released from prison on Tuesday night, according to CBS, just three days after he was arrested and accused of throwing Harwick, 38, from the balcony of her third-floor apartment.
No details about Pursehous’s bail conditions have been released by the police, and it is currently unclear when he will return to court.
It is on the same day that a video from the alleged murderer’s Instagram account was discovered, in which he joked about a creepy similar scenario to that on Saturday morning.
The clip, posted on Instagram last May, shows Pursehouse shirtless in a garden as he laughs at a scene from Game of Thrones in which character Bran Stark is pushed out of a tower window by Jamie Lannister.
Several disturbed viewers now claim that the video from Pursehouse is a “foreshadow” of the murder he allegedly committed.

Pursehouse explains: ‘Okay, Game of Thrones, first season. The brother and sister (Cersei and Jamie Lannister) are upstairs in the castle and then the child (Bran Stark) sees them through the window and the brother has to throw the child away to kill him. Although it is bad, I feel a bit bad for the brother, because although he does not want to do it, his sister incurs.
The alleged murderer then switches to his pun before the camera cuts off.
It is unclear why Pursehouse uploaded the clip about the episode, or whether it served as a kind of inspiration for his alleged murder.
“Advance shading?” a follower wrote Tuesday.
“Wow,” another commented, affected by the agreements.
Pursehouse can be seen in a video from May 2019 in which he jokes about a person who is pushed to death by a window
In a statement, Drew Carey, photo with Amie, said: “Amie and I had a love that makes people happy to have once in their life. She was a positive force in the world, a tireless and unapologetic champion for women and passionate about her work as a therapist. “
Harwick, recently engaged to comedian Drew Carey, was found unconscious on the ground on Saturday around 1:15 am after officers responded to a report of a “screaming woman” in a Hollywood Hills neighborhood.
According to police, she had been thrown from the balcony of her third-floor apartment, with the coroner confirming Tuesday that she was dying of blunt injuries to her head and trunk.
It is not known how Pursehouse reportedly knew where Amie lived now, but the couple shared a house together ten years ago. Harwick was first given a temporary restraining order against Pursehouse in 2011 and a second one a year later.
Friends say it was the previous chance meeting of the previous couple at an event he photographed that “his obsessive preoccupation with her was resurrected.”
Beverly Hills sex therapist Hernando Chaves told The LA Times: “It was definitely the worst possible luck.” Friend Vera Duffy added: ‘She said that when he saw her, he just became ballistic. He lost it. He has made a scene. ”
The Hollywood sex therapist from Amie Harwick had requested a second house ban against the ex-boyfriend who was accused of murdering her. Gareth Pursehouse, according to the Los Angeles police, has been arrested and charged with murder
Chaves added: “She was very scared. She said: “What am I going to do? I let my roommate know, I have home security ‘. ”
Harwick received a temporary restraining order against Pursehouse in 2011. After not attending a follow-up, the order was allegedly rejected “due to lack of prosecution.”
Subsequently, a judge granted her request for protection in April 2012 after she had again received a temporary restraining order. That order expired two weeks ago.
Harwick had previously told friends that she was afraid he would hurt her.
Friend Eric Breslow told KTLA: “This was a constant matter that she was talking about, that she was afraid of this specific man, and it was always something that followed her. It scared her enough to tell friends that, dude, I think I should take some mace or pepper spray. ”
The doctor’s roommate told the police that after Pursehouse was broken into, they had left the apartment to seek help for her.
By the time officers arrived at the property, she had been thrown off the balcony.
Amie’s ex-fiancé Drew Carey paid tribute to Harwick on Monday. The host of The Price Is Right said, “I want to thank you in advance for giving myself and everyone who loved Amie privacy, while we try to endure this tragic situation.”
His statement came after it was announced that the show canceled this week’s recordings.
