Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes was mocked by his wife, Brittany, on her Instagram Story Monday night for his ice cream intake.
According to Brittany, Patrick eats 10 mini ice cream cones a night. The miniature desserts feature a vanilla cone with a chocolate-covered layer on top of the ice cream.
Mahomes is still in good shape to lead the Chiefs to three Super Bowl victories in the last five seasons.
Since Kansas City’s title win over San Francisco last month, Mahomes has been enjoying his offseason with vacations in Mexico and spending time with Brittany and his family.
Mahomes also went viral for his dad bod, which teammate Rashee Rice turned into a t-shirt. It is unclear whether his ice cream consumption affected his physique.
Brittany makes fun of her husband for his ability to eat 10 ice cream cones a night
Over the weekend, Brittany and Patrick were at a home game for KC Current of the NWSL.
‘Anyone else eats 10 of these a night…because he does. Not me,” Brittany posted on Instagram with an arrow pointing toward Patrick and a laughing emoji.
An earlier Instagram story from Monday shows Brittany showing off a macaron with a bite taken out of it and a pint of ice cream.
It’s unclear if Patrick had that in addition to his 10 ice creams a night.
Mahomes’ love of ice cream has made headlines before.
Earlier this offseason, the Mahomes duo was spotted courtside at an NBA game in Dallas.
Last October, during an episode of the ‘New Heights’ podcast, hosted by Mahomes’ teammate Travis Kelce and older brother Jason Kelce, Mahomes’ love for Dippin’ Dots came up.
“There’s something weird about Dippin’ Dots that you only find at amusement parks,” Jason Kelce said. ‘Where have you seen Dippin’ Dots? I mean, I guess at sporting events, I’ve seen some Dippin’ Dots.
“I’ve seen them in Pat Mahomes’ garage,” Travis responded. “He’s got a freezer of Dippin’ Dots.”
Jason Kelce looked amazed at the thought of Mahomes’ freezer full of frozen ice cream.
