A mother panicked when she arrived at daycare to find the doors locked and her baby nowhere to be found.
The mother arrived at Busy Bees in Mirrabooka, Perth, last Monday to collect her 16-month-old son, but the lights were off and the doors were locked. 7News reported.
She didn’t know where her baby was and started calling any phone number she had to call the daycare.
After 40 minutes, he finally managed to get through to someone.
A worker then returned to the nursery and opened the doors, only to discover her baby was sleeping in a crib inside the nursery.
Two staff members have been dismissed and an investigation is underway.
Busy Bees said a “thorough review is underway to understand how this happened.”
In April, a little girl pricked herself with a needle at the same daycare center.
And in 2021, a child ran away from the same daycare.
