Marco Silva has claimed that Andre Gomes could incredibly return before the season is out following his horror ankle injury sustained against Tottenham.
The Everton midfielder suffered a gruesome fractured dislocation to his ankle following a challenge from Tottenham’s Son Heung-min during Sunday’s Premier League encounter.
Gomes underwent a successful surgery on Monday and there is hope that he could feature for the Toffees before the end of the campaign.

Speaking ahead of Everton’s crunch Premier League clash with Southampton, Silva said: ‘It is not easy for us to give a sure date about when Andre Gomes will return.
‘It is possible we will see him playing again this season.’
