It seems love is in the air at Wimbledon this year, with several celebrities not afraid to show off their relationships with passionate public displays of affection.
Cara Delevingne put on a stylish display when she attended the tennis competition on Monday and seemed unable to keep her hands off girlfriend Minke as they watched the action.
The 30-year-old model looked chic in a beige jacket that she combined with black leather pants while kissing her partner in the stands where she also joked making faces.
But he is far from the only star to have dropped the tag when he attended the prestigious sports competition at SW19.
Romeo Beckham, Orlando Bloom and Alexa Chung were seen to be hot at this year’s event.
But British etiquette expert Laura Akano said public displays of affection should be “completely avoided” in the pageant.
It seems love is in the air at Wimbledon this year, with several celebrities not afraid to show off their relationships with passionate public displays of affection.
The pulidomanners.co.uk founder said: ‘Excessive PDA in public is not just a breach of etiquette at Wimbledon, it will apply anywhere.
“This type of behavior is often considered attention seeking and can make people uncomfortable.
Bystanders should act with decorum and keep intense petting to a minimum.
‘Etiquette means thinking of others and making them feel comfortable with you.
“An event like Wimbledon demands a good level of behavior from all attendees, public displays of affection should be kept to a minimum or avoided altogether.”
Etiquette expert William Hanson agreed, saying: “While there’s nothing in the official Wimbledon conditions for entry about intense petting and excessive kissing, it’s common sense that if you’re attending one of sport’s most prestigious tournaments, you should being more interested in tennis on the court rather than with your own and your partner’s tonsils.
“Compared to some of our southern European neighbours, we Brits are certainly more sanctimonious about public displays of affection and tend to refrain.
“PDAs are usually seen with newer partners or those who are so insecure in their relationships that they have to remind their partner (and have their partner remind them) that they are still an item.
“It’s better etiquette to actually watch tennis, looking straight ahead, than to look into your partner’s clear eyes or locked lips.”
He added: “If you can’t be trusted to comply, stay home.”
Meanwhile, expert and party planner Jaye Harrison agreed, saying: ‘I think the question of etiquette at Wimbledon is more a question of the nature and intensity of the PDA than the act itself.
‘A peck on the cheek or a quick kiss doesn’t raise many eyebrows in the context of a major sporting event, even one as prestigious as Wimbledon. However, the line blurs when these displays of affection drift toward the passionate end of the spectrum.
‘While some may argue that the open PDA at an event like Wimbledon detracts from the sporting spectacle, others may see it as a harmless expression of joy and excitement.
‘The key is finding a middle ground that respects the spirit of the event and the shared space without stifling individual expressions.’
She continued: ‘My advice to anyone attending such a prestigious event? Be aware of your surroundings and the social expectations that come with it.
“We all have our moment in the sun, but let’s not forget that the real stars of the event are the ones who fight on the court.”
Romeo Beckham and his model girlfriend Mia Regan seemed a bit distracted as they watched the action on Center Court at Wimbledon on Tuesday.
The couple was photographed making an affectionate display as they kissed in the stands on day nine of the tennis championships.
The 20-year-old son of David and Victoria Beckham looked happier than ever as he kissed Mia, also 20, on the cheek, nuzzled her neck and snapped selfies.

Alexa Chung and Tom Sturridge also showed their passion for each other while watching tennis.

Meanwhile, Romeo Beckham and his girlfriend Mia Reagan got up close and personal at this week’s event.
The lovebirds arrived at Wimbledon with Romeo’s grandmother, Sandra, who is the mother of David Beckham.

Meanwhile, Alexa Chung looked as loved up as ever as she exchanged a kiss with boyfriend Tom Sturridge in the stands.

The historic tennis championships, now held in London, are noted for their code of etiquette that all spectators must observe. For first-time attendees, knowing the tournament rules is especially crucial.
But in terms of official competition etiquette, there’s nothing to say that viewers can’t feel passion during sets.
Cheering in the middle of exchanges is strictly prohibited, as is calling out players’ names before they are about to serve. However, in tennis tournament cheering is allowed after the point has been played.
Court circulation is also strictly regulated, with spectators only allowed to leave their seats until after the third game of the set and when the players change ends. Also, spectators can only return to their seats at those times.
