ESPN reveals its ‘Selection Sunday’ schedule ahead of the start of March Madness

ESPN has revealed some big changes to the schedule for its ‘Selection Sunday’ coverage, with March Madness taking center stage on the sports channel starting this week as seeding and rankings are set to be announced.

Christine Williamson and Rece Davis – hosts of the College GameDays basketball show on ESPN – will take the lead in presenting all 68 teams in the men’s and women’s brackets in this year’s NCAA Tournament.

The men’s bracket will be announced at 6 p.m. ET with ESPN showing live reaction on SportsCenter before transitioning to a special one-hour talk show with analysis from Jay Bilas, Seth Greenberg and Jay Williams. Davis will remain on the air to host the program.

At 8 p.m. ET, heads will turn to the women’s bracket reveal, which will be hosted by Elle Duncan.

Williamson will then provide a comprehensive review of both brackets in a special ‘Bracketology’ presentation at 9 p.m. ET.

She will also be with a program looking ahead to the NCAA Tournament on Monday. Bilas hosts it.

March Madness begins with the First Four on Tuesday. The national championship game is scheduled to be played on Monday, April 8 at 21.20

The 2024 NCAA Men’s Final Four will be played at State Farm Stadium in Phoenix, Arizona.

SportsCenter regular Rece Davis will fill his usual role on the show

The Women’s Final Four will take place at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland, Ohio on April 5th and 7th.

Williamson regularly appears on ESPN’s basketball coverage, including Get Up! on weekday mornings with Greenberg.

She also fills in for Molly Qerim on First Take when the regular host is not on the show.

Davis anchors ESPN’s SportsCenter and hosts various other programs on the network, including College GameDay’s football and basketball road shows.

Since 2021, he has been the network’s leading host of international football events.
