People who attended the esoteric festival last week are being urged to watch out for gastro symptoms after a major outbreak was linked to the event.
At least 120 festival-goers have reported symptoms of gastroenteritis after attending the festival in country Victoria, which ran from Friday March 8 to Tuesday this week.
A number of these cases have been confirmed as shigella gastroenteritis – a highly contagious gastro strain characterized by sudden onset of diarrhoea, abdominal cramps, nausea and vomiting.
