Eshay girls refuse to pay at Get Polished nail salon in the Newcastle’s Waratah – instead assaulting a worker and telling him to ‘go back to his country’

Eshay’s daughters refuse to pay at Get Polished nail salon in Newcastle’s Waratah – instead assaulting a worker and telling him to “go back to his country”.

Police are searching for two teenage ‘Eshays’ who refused to pay their bill at a family-run nail salon, assaulted an employee, made racial slurs and fled the scene.

The female duo went to Get Polished nail salon in the Newcastle suburb of Waratah around 2.30pm on Sunday, where they asked for two full sets of acrylic nails costing $140.

They then refused to hand over the money for the service, according to staff, blaming the store’s lack of mobile service as the reason they couldn’t pay.

The two men ran away and when a staff member caught up with them, they kicked him in the stomach and slapped him in the face, before telling the Asian man to “go back in his own country.

In footage posted to the Salon’s Facebook page, one of the girls can be heard saying “try and catch me on that, you stupid f**king c**t” as she drove off on her scooter.

“That’s what I thought, holy shit,” she told the worker.

“They were rude…(The male staff member) was very upset,” said store owner Lee. NOTews.com.au.

In a message posted on the salon’s Facebook page, they claim the two girls had “provoked and challenged our employee to retaliate if he dared and said they were minors.”

“We are a small family business trying to make a living and want to alert the community and other small businesses so this doesn’t happen to them,” the post read.

“We hope that by sharing this message they will put an end to this horrible and unacceptable behavior.”

Lee said his frustration was not about the money, but rather the lack of respect.

“I’m angry because it’s happened a lot,” Lee said.

“Teenagers know their power and they can achieve anything.

“Making a complaint won’t affect them at all, I know that because there was exactly the same incident with my staff (at another store).

“They ran away and my team caught up with them and they still managed to escape.”

Many locals commented on the salon’s Facebook post to hate the girls’ actions towards the staff.

“This kind of action is unacceptable, contemptuous, disrespectful and so embarrassing,” one local wrote.

“They are just horrible and they and their parents should be ashamed,” wrote a second.

NSW Police have released descriptions of two girls they say can help with their investigations, while urging anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers.

“The first woman is described as being of Caucasian appearance and with blonde hair. She was last seen wearing a black ‘Champion’ hoodie, with gray sweatpants and black and white ‘slides’, a NSW Police statement said.

“The second woman is described as being of Caucasian appearance and with dark brown hair. She was last seen wearing a gray “Ellesse” sweater, with dark pants and white “Onitsuka Tiger” sneakers.
