Eric Trump slams Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg for impeaching his father

Date:

Eric Trump has slammed Manhattan Attorney General Alvin Bragg for accusing his father amid a wave of “theft, vagrancy and crime” in the Big Apple.

Going after his father, Eric said, was hypocritical as he called on authorities to turn their attention to President Biden’s son Hunter who was filmed in a series of criminal footage with prostitutes while on drugs.

Trump was unexpectedly indicted Thursday in connection with the $130,000 payment for silence to porn star Stormy Daniels in 2016.

This was a victory for Bragg, whose office was responsible for investigating the payments.

But Eric blasted the DA’s stalking of his father in an angry rant on Thursday night’s episode of Hannity.

He appeared to be referring to an incident in May 2021 when three innocent bystanders including a four-year-old girl were shot in Times Square.

Bragg becomes Manhattan’s DA several months later in November 2021.

Eric also recounted a range of indiscretions by other former presidents and their family members – which have never been prosecuted by the courts.

These included footage of a nude Biden fisherman hauling a prostitute and a gun, and Bill Clinton paying $850,000 to civil servant Paula Jones after she accused him of sexual harassment and assault.

He also referred to the email controversy raised by Hillary Clinton, which caused her to send messages from a personal account during her four years as Secretary of State to Barack Obama.

“This is third world tactics,” Eric said.

“Hunter Biden frat films his lamentations. Bill Clinton pushes Paula Jones. Bill Clinton’s intern fidgets in the White House in the Oval Office.”

Hillary Clinton deletes emails under subpoena – and no one says anything about these people.

Hunter, 52, was embroiled in a bitter legal battle with a computer repair shop owner who leaked a batch of his nude photos and private messages belonging to the president’s son in 2020.

Hunter left the laptop at the store and failed to collect it.

Earlier in the evening, Eric told WhatsNew2Day.com that the case against his father was “opportunistic targeting of a political opponent in a year’s campaign.”

Trump is now expected to go to trial on Tuesday after weeks of speculation that an arrest was imminent.

The allegations against Trump center around $130,000 paid to Daniels, 44, by Michael Cohen, Trump’s former attorney and agent, during the 2016 presidential campaign.

A grand jury has heard evidence about allegations that Donald Trump paid adult movie star Stormy Daniels $130,000 to buy her silence about their relationship.

The former boss has long denied having an affair with Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford.

But the case has dogged him throughout his time in office after a federal investigation was opened.

Although the Justice Department decided not to indict Trump, and the Federal Election Commission is deadlocked over taking action over allegations that the payment was an undisclosed campaign contribution, the Manhattan administration is still looking into the case.

And it gained new momentum in early 2023 when Cohen met with investigators from the Manhattan district attorney’s office and it turned out that a grand jury was hearing evidence.

Hearings are conducted in secret. But one theory was that she was investigating Trump for falsifying business records in connection with the payment, by falsely reporting a campaign donation as a legal fee.

On Saturday, March 18, Trump famously said he would be arrested by the office of Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg the following Tuesday.

But the arrest did not materialize, and the case has quieted down in recent weeks.

Trump responded to news of the indictment with an angry statement calling it “political persecution and election interference at the highest level in history.”

“I believe this witch hunt will backfire on Joe Biden,” his statement read.

The American people know exactly what the ultra-left Democrats are doing here. Everyone can see it.

So our movement and our party – united and strong – are going to beat Alvin Bragg first, then we’re going to beat Joe Biden and we’re going to kick the last of these crooked Democrats out of office so we can make America great again.

He was offered partial asylum by Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, who promised to thwart Trump’s extradition from his home state to New York.
