Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour has dominated the global music scene for more than a year, breaking world records and bringing tens of thousands of fans into huge stadiums almost every month.
However, while the queen of pop has been inundated with five-star reviews, one of her industry peers appears to have been less impressed and took a swipe at the singer.
Foo Fighters legend Dave Grohl attacked the American superstar this weekend, suggesting Swift, 34, doesn’t sing live during her lengthy show.
Joking with their audience, the band had dubbed their tour the ‘mistakes’ tour, joking that their band had ‘few times more and more than a few damn mistakes’ because they ‘actually play live’.
While Grohl, 55, claimed he didn’t “want to suffer the wrath of Taylor Swift,” the billionaire singer made a comment last night while performing her third sold-out tour at Wembley Stadium to thank her band for playing “in live” for three and a half hours.

Grohl is currently on tour with his band, where he performed at London Stadium on Saturday night.
‘What you just did is an unforgettable moment not only in my life, but in each of the members of our team. The band that will be playing live for you for three and a half hours tonight,” he told his audience.
‘They deserve it so much and so do all my fellow artists, and you gave it to us so generously. We will never forget him.’
The rock band’s frontman attacked Swift at the London Stadium, just miles from where the pop icon was performing her sold-out Wembley Stadium show in front of 89,000 fans.
This has put the Seattle-born band, formed in 1994, at odds with Swift, who got her start as a country singer releasing her first album in 2008 at just 16 years old.
While the Foo Fighters’ success has continued for decades (the band went on 10 world tours and sold more than 30 million records), solo artist Swift has eclipsed their long-standing stardom.
It is estimated that there are more than 100 million Swifties worldwide, and 50 million adults claim to be fans of the singer in the United States alone. Meanwhile, the Foo Fighters clan has more than 27 million fans worldwide.
Addressing his fans at the London Stadium on Saturday night, Grohl said they were in the right place to enjoy “raw, live rock ‘n’ roll music.”
Swift performed to a crowd of 89,000 in a sparkly silver jacket and matching high-heeled boots on Sunday night.

The country star turned pop singer has a net worth of $1.3 billion, now making her the richest musician in the world.
While Grohl has a staggering net worth of $320 million alone, it’s just a fraction of the enormous sum Swift has amassed through her vast retail portfolio and high-grossing world tour.
Swift, who began her career 14 years after the Foo Fighters, has also scored 12 No. 1 hits in less than two decades, just one more than the rock band’s 11 No. 1 hits.
The Foo Fighters have performed on more than 10 world tours so far, compared to Swift’s six tours.
Each month, about 22.7 million listeners tune in to hear the Foo Fighters, compared to more than 100 million for Swift.
Meanwhile, the pop princess has a whopping 284 million followers on Instagram compared to Foo Fighters’ 5.6 million.

On Saturday night, the group played London Stadium, following a warm-up act by up-and-coming indie band Wet Leg.
Joking with the London crowd, Grohl said: “We were joking earlier about Taylor Swift’s tour. I know she’s on her ‘mistakes’ tour.
‘I’m telling you man, you don’t want to suffer the wrath of Taylor Swift. That’s why we like to call our tour the Tour of Errors.

‘We’ve had more than a few eras, and more than a few damn mistakes too. Just a couple.’
The band’s leader went on to clarify: “That’s because we actually play live.” That?’.
As the crowd erupted in applause, he said, “I’m just saying.” You guys like live rock ‘n’ roll music, right? You’ve come to the right fucking place!’
Some Swifties online responded to Grohl’s comments about Swift’s tour, with one writing, “Oh, Tayvoodoo is coming for him and he deserves it.” I can’t stand it when a woman is more talented and successful.
Another added: ‘Wow Grohl is so washed up he has to use Taylor’s name for free. “It was embarrassing to think it was better than that, what a shame.”
Despite the swipe at Swift, the pair have previously been on good terms and Grohl praised Swift for the decision to re-record her albums to allow her to win the master recordings.
Grohl also once talked about how Swift “saved” him after she helped him while he was performing at a party thrown by Sir Paul McCartney.
Last night, Swift continued her run of sold-out shows in the UK, performing for the third night at Wembley Stadium.
