ER doctor at Trump rally reveals how he performed CPR on crowd member after shooting him

An emergency doctor at Trump’s rally reveals how he performed CPR on a crowd member after the shooting.

“I heard the gunshots. At first I thought they were firecrackers. Someone there was screaming that he had been shot, that he had been shot,” said the man, his white U.S. shirt splattered with blood. “So I went over and told them I was an emergency doctor. Let me help you.”

“The guy turned around and got caught between the benches and got shot in the head. There was a lot of blood and he had brain matter,” he told CBS News.

“I gathered him together and got people to help me a lot. I also did chest compressions and CPR.”

Butler County District Attorney Richard Goldfinger reportedly said one person is believed to be dead and “possibly a second.”

He said the person believed to be dead is “someone in the crowd.”

A helicopter was heard hovering over the demonstration as the emergency doctor continued his harrowing account of the events.

“The guy turned around and got caught between the benches and got shot in the head. There was a lot of blood and he had brain matter,” the man told CBS News.
