Epson’s new SureColor dye-sublimation printers: key specifications and features
These two new printers feature Epson’s Micro TFP Precision Core technology, which is designed to deliver enhanced image quality. The company claims that both printers offer different benefits depending on the user’s needs.
The SC-F6430 increases productivity by 20% compared to its predecessor, the SC-F6330. The SC-F6430H also offers an expanded color gamut through the use of CMYK, plus a choice of fluorescent pink and fluorescent yellow, light cyan and light magenta, or orange and violet.
As Epson’s first 44-inch six-colour dye-sublimation printer, the SC-F6430H opens the door to a wider range of potential applications for both textiles and rigid substrates. This enhancement promises to help users produce fashion, homewear, sportswear, soft signage and promotional items, and more.
The SC-F6430 and SC-F6430H offer several other benefits to business users, including new higher-capacity ink packs that hold 45% more ink (1.6 L), reducing replacement frequency and waste. The ink packs just need to be shaken and placed, no more pouring and stirring, which can cause a mess.
The printers also have a new 4.3-inch touchscreen that is 30% larger than the previous model. Simplified maintenance routines also claim to minimize downtime and software bundles are included to help businesses work more efficiently and better analyze costs and profitability.
Both products provide users with a complete solution including hardware, software, print head, ink, sublimation paper and warranty. In addition, the SC-F6430H also bundles a take-up reel.
