Jeremy Piven has called out Australian actress Melissa George for refusing to talk about her time on Home and Away.
He made the comments while appearing on 2Day FM’s Hughesy, Ed & Erin breakfast show on Thursday.
Co-host Erin Molan asked him about his role as Ari Gold on Entourage.
“Some people play these iconic roles early in their career and then hate talking about it. Like Melissa George, she’s an example,” she said.
“She’s an Australian actress who starred on Home and Away for years, but refuses to talk about it. You clearly don’t have that attitude. You still love the character and are happy to talk to people about Ari. fans, right?
Jeremy replied, “Well, Melissa George needs to calm down. I have to go to her house and I have to talk to her a little about gratitude in TED.

In 2012, Melissa was angry when The Morning Show hosts Larry Emdur and Kylie Gillies aired clips of her on Home and Away, asking her questions about her time on the show.
At the time, News Corp reported that Melissa had threatened to walk off set if her time on Home and Away was mentioned.
“She kept saying she’d had so many bigger roles since Home and Away that it was offensive to talk about it – she even said she’d send Seven a bill because she was making them inadvertent promotion in the media,” a source told the Daily Telegraph.
Melissa broke her silence on the incident in an interview with the Sydney Morning Herald in November that year, explaining that she was not returning to Australia for some time due to the stress that interviewing with the local media.

“I don’t need my country’s credibility anymore, I just need them all to shut up.” If they don’t have anything intelligent to say, please don’t talk to me anymore,” she said.
“I’d rather have a croissant and a small espresso in Paris or walk my French bulldog in New York.”
Melissa starred as Angel Parrish on Home and Away from 1993 to 1996 and made her US big screen debut in the 1998 film Dark City.
She also featured in Mulholland Drive in 2001 and Derailed in 2005.
