A millennial couple purchased a charming 10-acre property in the heart of a national forest for just $200,000.
In a viral TikTok video uploaded by Alyssa under the name @lysslanghomestead, the young duo, ages 28 and 29, document the renovation of their 900-square-foot cabin.
The hard-working couple first shows their dogs running around their sprawling property, which is surrounded by mountains and beautiful trees whose leaves change color.

Throughout this sequence, Alyssa and her husband can be seen painting the walls of the house and changing the “disgusting tile floor” to something nicer.
“It’s the house of our dreams,” he wrote. “We are eager to continue renovating.”
In an interview with news weekAlyssa revealed that she and her husband had always been interested in owning property, but before finding the $200,000 cabin, “it seemed out of their reach financially.”
Although they have carried out major renovations to the cabin, they have been able to do most of the work themselves, which has given them a deep feeling of accomplishment.
“The renovation has probably cost us about $10,000 doing all the work so far ourselves,” Alyssa said. news week.
He continued, “Some of these projects can be stressful, but doing them ourselves has given us the satisfaction of knowing that things can be accomplished that at first seem insurmountable.”

The clip shows its idyllic surroundings with a deep purple sky, with text on the screen reading: “Our new morning coffee view with 10 acres.”
Alyssa wrote that the couple had “access to the creek.” He also wrote in the comments section that the water came “straight from a mountain spring.”
