Rugby star George Ford from England has split off from his stunning, fashion designer fiancee Jess Portman, just seven months after his engagement, MailOnline can reveal.
The couple broke up last month, just a few weeks after business fashionista Jess supported her splendor in Japan when England reached the World Cup Final.
Now the couple are confronted with their own personal heartache with Jess, 24 who leave the chic home they shared in Leicester with their beloved dog Bailee and return to live with her parents in Bath.
A source told MailOnline: ‘It’s a shame because they have made a fantastic couple. Both are very private individuals and focus on processing what has happened. It is very sad. “
England and Leicester Tigers fly half George, 26 and Jess only got engaged last June and had plans to start a family as soon as possible.
Since splitting, Jess has spent part of her time in London overseeing her fashion company, Portman London UK, which specializes in boho-inspired designer clothing.

She regularly posts beautiful photos of herself in the company’s chic outfits to her 16,000 Instagram followers and also became a huge hit in social media during last year’s rugby world when she wrote her time in Japan.
Jess also posted pictures of herself during a recent trip to New York with friends, which was organized to help her overcome the end of the relationship.
George first met Jess six years ago through common friends when she studied fashion at Manchester University.
It took a year before she finally agreed to go on a date with him and after that she became one of the most popular and glamorous Wags in the ruby camp in England.
The couple settled at home in Leicester three years ago after Jess graduated and George signed for Leicester Tigers.
He revealed in an interview last year: ‘She was finished with uni and I dropped the bomb that I moved to Leicester and wanted her to come. She is brilliant and has established herself very well. “

George has also credited Jess for helping him establish as one of the leading ruby players in the English game.
‘You have to lead a normal life at home and it is extremely important to do that well.
‘It can be at the club quite a week a week and when you leave playing games it is nice to come home and relax in a good environment when you can switch off every night and watch some clutter on TV. Simple things like that are important, “he revealed.
Jess once described George as her best friend and revealed that she loved how tenacious he was to win her over, which helped them develop a deep bond.

A Ford spokesperson told MailOnline: “We can confirm that George’s relationship with Jess is over. It ended friendly. They met when they were very young and things just went their way. There is no more drama here, neither of them is fun, but things came to an end.
“They broke up last month. Both started to think about their future after returning from the Rugby World Cup.
“George is doing well. Both he and Jess come from very supportive families. He has the rugby to focus on and she has her fashion business. They keep themselves busy and continue their lives. “
