English footballer Jack Grealish ends a six-week affair with Inbetweeners star Emily Atack by ‘ghosting’ her – and decides to save the relationship with his long-term model girlfriend
Jack Grealish has ended his six-week fling with TV actress Emily Atack after their secret dates were revealed.
The English footballer, who is said to have been ‘faded’ by the former Inbetweeners star, decided he wanted to stay with his long-term girlfriend Sasha Attwood and is now fighting to save their relationship.
The Mail on Sunday can reveal that Grealish cruelly cut all contact with Ms Atack by ‘ghosting’ her – and suddenly cut all contact without explanation.
Grealish’s love life has been front page news for days. Yesterday friends of Ms Atack, 31, told how she hasn’t spoken to him or received any kind of message in the eight days since a red-top tabloid revealed they’d been on a string of dates together.

Ms Atack was also ‘surprised’ to see that the 26-year-old, who is paid £230,000 a week from Manchester City, was also linked with Love Island contestant Amber Gill. A friend said, “Emily hasn’t heard from him.”
On Friday night, Mrs Atack looked gloomy on a night out in central London with her sister Martha and a group of friends. Dressed in a short black dress and brown knee-high boots, she left Soho’s Dean Street Townhouse where she drank white wine with the women before eating at the restaurant.
Meanwhile, Mrs Attwood, a model who has been dating Grealish for ten years, still lives with him in Manchester, but is said to be ‘devastated’.
Despite friends urging her to dump her boyfriend, so far she hasn’t, with sources speculating it wasn’t an easy decision because she’s so close to Grealish’s mom Karen and his 18-year-old sister.
The news that the footballer – Britain’s first £100million player – has decided to calm down his romantic adventures will come as a relief to his management, who are wary of risking his lucrative commercial opportunities off the pitch.
For ‘Jack The Lad’ Grealish won a new fan base this summer for his performances for England during the European Championship.
With his dashing style, sassy personality and signature headband – and most importantly, his toned legs – the Birmingham-born Grealish has become the guilty pleasure of many middle-aged women.
Among them is Radio 2 DJ Zoe Ball, 50, who has confessed to being caught looking at Jack Grealish’s legs.
An Instagram page set up earlier this year by a 45-year-old superfan to honor Grealish’s legs now has nearly 11,000 followers.

Lucy, the woman behind the report, believes there is a sociological reason behind his appeal, as he reminds women born in the 1970s and early 1980s of their teenage days—and the floppy-haired boys who they went out at the time. Even his ostentatious fashion sense helps to evoke those memories.
She says: ‘He also radiates charisma. He’s that sassy little cute thing that’s so passionate, but it’s actually more than that.
“For women around my age, Jack is nostalgic. He reminds me of all my boyfriends when I was a teenager. He is Wayne, Jason, Darren and Martin in one.
“Jack is a flashback to the 1990s – a time when I was young, slim and excited about life. He comes from an era where I enjoyed life so much, I was dating all the time and the guys I dated were wearing Bermuda shorts and bucket hats, like Jack does. He reminds women my age of the good old days as he lives the revival of the 1990s.”
Grealish’s appeal has been compared to that of the ultimate football heartbeat – David Beckham. But whether he can enjoy the same longevity will depend on his army of female fans who continue to see him as a cute boy next door — not a “ghostly” love cheat.
