Aston Villa defender Mings, who played a key role in the Euro 2020 group stage to help England’s euphoric race to the final, is suffering from a rib problem that kept him out of Saturday’s 1-1 draw with Brentford.
Calvert-Lewin, who scored three goals in Everton’s first three Premier League games of the season, played through the pain barrier with a toe injury.
Both players will be assessed before deciding whether they can play for England.
