A glamorous Missouri real estate agent accused of paying a hitman to kill her mother-in-law reportedly sent a chilling text to her own daughter telling her that her grandmother would soon be dead.
Leigh Ann Bauman, 44, was arrested in March after a former friend allegedly gave police secret recordings of the blonde discussing her sinister plot.
According to court documents, Bauman – who lives in Lake Ozarks – divorced her ex-husband in 2018 and believed he and his mother, 73, would fight for custody of her children.
Bauman has been released from prison on $ 400,000 bail and is awaiting trial on conspiracy to commit first degree murder.
On Tuesday, a Miller County judge issued Bauman’s terrified ex-husband a protection order for himself and his children.
“My daughters, my family, and I have suffered so much emotional and psychological damage from Leigh Ann Bauman’s actions over the past 15 years,” Bauman’s ex wrote.
The petition for the protection order also included an allegation that Bauman had texted her daughter before her arrest saying, don’t throw your REAL mom under the bus. ‘

CK is awaiting its own lawsuit for receiving stolen property.
A likely cause statement on that case claims that CK has “many aliases in her criminal record with two Social Security numbers” and that she “has three nationalities.”
Bauman’s supporters say CK manipulated the Missouri real estate agent to include her in an attempt to “ gain influence ” in her own ongoing criminal case.
