However, three days after the couple paid their bills, the bank informed them that a “stop payment” notice had been issued on one of the checks.
She unleashed her furious rant when people online suggested she “sue” her boss.

The wife explained: ‘My husband and I work for the same company. This week we had a nice Christmas party in a very expensive restaurant and everyone ate and drank.’
After the lavish dinner, the couple’s boss gave a nice speech in which he thanked his workers for their hard work and gave them bonuses.
The Reddit user added: ‘Boss gave this speech about how grateful he is for all of us and that we really make the company what it is. He gave us all our bonuses and we went home for the day. Cool. We put our checks in the bank. They checked out the next day, so I paid our bills.
However, three days later, the couple was surprised when they woke up to a flood of emails from their bank.
She explained: ‘On the third day I wake up to a series of emails from the bank saying that a “stop payment” was issued on one of those checks.
‘Our boss had stopped payment of my husband’s bonus check the day after giving it to him.
‘Because? For his “unwillingness to do his job.” This is total nonsense.
