Viewers in Emmerdale had very mixed opinions about the Dales couple of the moment, Dr Liam Cavanagh and nurse Wendy Posner, as their romance continued to blossom during Wednesday’s episode.
In an effort to get Dr. Courting Liam for the third night in a row, Wendy sat down with the GP and pulled out some of her erotic fiction.
On Monday, the fire increased in the village when Dr. Liam (Jonny McPherson) and Wendy (Susan Cookson) shared a passionate kiss during surgery, while across town Bernice Blackstock (Samantha Giles) tried to seal lips with Wendy’s long-term partner Bob Hope (Tony Audenshaw) about a bottle of wine.
During Tuesday’s episode, fans were stunned to see a very visible love bite on Liam’s neck after his night of passion with Wendy.
And while Bob put the brakes on his romance with Bernice on Wednesday, Liam again couldn’t resist Wendy as she read him her erotic fiction, with the medic clearly finding her talent for writing very appealing.

Unable to contain their excitement, the costumed couple turn to face each other as Liam hugs Wendy, while the medic launches his lips and fake mustache at her as they kiss, with Wendy welcoming the romantic gesture.
