Emmerdale’s James Moore has revealed his future plans for a family after marrying partner Sophie Edwards in a picturesque lakeside manor house earlier this week.
The soap actor, 32, who plays Ryan Stock on the soap, looked to the future as Sophie recalled their first date in a sweet interview.
Sophie recalled: ‘I didn’t know James was disabled until he mentioned it and I didn’t know he was in Emmerdale until he mentioned it.
“My mum is an Emmerdale fan though…she was ecstatic!”
James made his new wife cry during the ceremony when he spoke about living with a disability.
On the big day, she revealed the challenges she had faced growing up with cerebral palsy, which is the condition name for a group of permanent conditions that affect movement and coordination.
For the sweet nuptials, one hundred guests attended the romantic Cheltenham-based venue to celebrate their special day.
James opted to add a pop of color to his wedding ceremony as he walked down the aisle wearing a deep purple two-piece suit, similar to that worn by Batman’s Joker.
He paired his quirky ensemble with pale blue Oxford brogues, which feature lilac laces and a pale printed tie.
Sophie looked elegant as she graced the aisle in a princess-style wedding dress that featured leaf details.

Adding her first quote, Sophie recalled: “I didn’t know James was disabled until he mentioned it and I didn’t know he was in Emmerdale until he mentioned it.”
Matching her lover, Sophie held a bouquet of pale pink roses.
In their wedding video, James was seen crying as Sophie walked among her excited guests.
Sophie’s mom walked her down the aisle to McFly’s All About You, and there wasn’t a dry eye when the couple said their “I do’s.”
For the big celebration, the couple brought their personality in with a Simpsons-themed donut wall.
There was also a temporary tattoo station with a variety of Pokémon designs.
In September, James, who joined Emmerdale in 2018, revealed they would be getting married in two months.
She posted a photo of them posing with their wedding rings on Instagram after getting them made.
James wrote: ‘I can’t believe it’s less than two months until Soph and I are getting married!
‘Time has passed very quickly, but I like to think that we are well prepared. “We made our wedding rings last week and it felt so special and unique, and it was another reminder that I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with my favorite person.”
Last June, the TV star celebrated her fourth anniversary with a heartfelt social media post.
The couple got engaged in May 2022 and hinted at their wedding earlier this week when James changed his Instagram bio to ‘Husband of Sophie Edwards.’
He shared several smiling selfies of the couple and wrote: ‘Today 4 years with my favorite person, my partner, my best friend and now my fiancée too!
‘I am very lucky and grateful for everything you do, taking care of me and always being there for everything!!
