Emmerdale star Twinnie-Lee Moore has revealed her anger at clothing brand Zara after one of its outfits caused her hands to turn blue on live television.
The country singer, 37, appeared on Channel 4’s Sunday Brunch earlier this month, looking fashion-forward in a strapless denim top and jeans.
However, the morning show was almost derailed when presenter Tim Lovejoy noticed Twinnie’s hands had turned a bluish color and feared she had become unwell.
Discussing the ordeal on her TikTok, the soap star explained that her outfit had been to blame and revealed her mortification at the mistake which appeared on national television and was noticed by viewers.
She said: ‘I went to Zara, picked out this outfit and was so excited to go on this show. I thought I looked good. I thought I’d done a good job as my own stylist!’
She told how Tim kept approaching her repeatedly during commercial breaks to check she was okay and if she was cold.

A clueless Twinnie continued: ‘I was like, yeah, I’m a little cold, but I’m fine! Then on the second break he comes up to me and says, “twin, are you sure you’re okay right now?”
Looking down, he saw the discoloration on his hands and “started to panic” thinking he might have Raynaud’s disease, where blood stops circulating to the extremities.
He added: ‘Everyone has their own insecurities. Mine are my hands. Look at these hands, I have man hands! They’re almost the size of my head. I don’t need any more attention on these hands.’
But she continued: “Then the penny drops: Oh my God, it’s the dye in my clothes! And it’s live! So there’s really nothing you can do about it.
‘And all these tweets keep coming in like “is he dying?” The presenter thought I was dying on national television, he almost stopped the show because of it!’
Tim mentioned it on the show because he was inundated with concerned messages from viewers, saying: ‘Her hands turned blue and I was looking at her thinking, ‘We have to stop the show and get a nurse.”
There was also a flurry of tweets from fans, who wrote: ‘What’s going on with Twinny’s gray hands?’; ‘Why do you have blue hands?’
‘Are Twinnie’s hands covered in black or blue dye?!’; ‘I guess Twinnie’s hands are black from her outfit’; ‘What’s wrong with his hands?’

Twinnie said she was furious with Zara and came up with a clever idea of how the company could make it up to her for the embarrassing incident.
She said: ‘I’m furious. It’s from Zara, it’s new and my hands are blue. They are recovering it. But I’m fine. I’m not going to die, just so you know!
‘I would like to take two people shopping who can’t necessarily afford to shop at your store. And I want it to be for you Zara! That way you’ll make it up to me and I’ll feel good about giving back to someone else.’
It comes after Twinnie joined the Emmerdale cast in October to play ambitious and ruthless boxing promoter Jade.
The country-pop singer gushed that she had “a lot of fun” on set, after swapping Nashville for the Yorkshire town.
She said: ‘My life has been a bit crazy lately juggling music and acting with a lot of coming and going between Nashville and Yorkshire, but I love it!
‘I’ve loved being back on screen, especially as the show was filmed in Yorkshire, being able to be home with the family and go to work on such an iconic show has been nothing short of incredible.
‘The whole team has been very welcoming and really supportive. It’s so much fun playing my character and I can’t wait to see how the audience reacts to her.”
