In his post, Matt added: ‘We did it … come to a vaccination center near you … thank you very much @stjohn_ambulance for all your incredible help and training …

The former Big Brother presenter also posted a photo of a training manikin and jokingly wrote, “Got a new mate.”

Matt previously revealed that while he won’t be administering any vaccines himself, anyone who gets the shot where he volunteers will have their business for the process.

Speaking of Vicky Pattison The secret of podcast, he said, “I’m signing up for the St. John ambulance team.

“I’m not allowed to administer vaccines because I don’t have two A levels, but I’m going to help people walk in and register on the computer.”

‘I’ve got everything else to do and I’m sitting around. I feel quite inadequate. ‘

Matt admitted feeling ‘f **** d’ for now as his career as a musician is on hold until the live gigs can resume after they shut down.

He said: ‘There is no chance that there will be performances, theater or plays for a long time to come.

‘So I’m like,’ Right, what can I do? ‘I’m just going to do that for a while and see what happens. It only takes 16 hours per month, so little effort. I can now do 16 hours a day. Get me out of the house!

They do something so amazing. I said I was doing this, I was really getting carried away researching it. When you consider how many people in the UK need this vaccine and there are an awful lot of people on leave hanging around with their thumbs up their a ** e.

‘Believe me, this is not a selfless act, I am doing this completely selfishly. I want my life back. I want to play shows, I want festivals to take place, I want to hug my f ***** g friends.

Matt also thinks he and fellow Busted bandmates Charlie Simpson and James Bourne will get back together at some point when the lockdown ends.

He said, “J is doing a solo record and Charlie is doing a solo record. I am an unemployed self-tape actor and a stay-at-home dad / teacher / vacuum cleaner. We’ve all moved on.

‘We are too busy for the band now, but it will certainly happen again. Busted is something we all absolutely love and we know what it is.

“It’s and always will be a big part of my life.”
