It was twenty years ago that they met during Emma Watson's screen test for the role of Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter film franchise.
And the actress was there to party with author J.K. Rowling when she marked her 54th birthday this week.
Sharing a snap on Instagram Emma, 29, posed with the writer and her Harry Potter co-star Evanna Lynch, who played Luna Lovegood, during the costume party.

Emma dressed in a Wonder Woman costume while Jo stood in the middle of the trio, with a glamorous black halter neck dress and bloody makeup covering half her face.
Meanwhile, Evanna looked beautiful in green with sparkling cat makeup and her blonde locks styled in the ears.
An impressed Emma paid tribute to both Jo and Evanna & # 39; s costumes in her photo caption and wrote: & # 39; Sexy and scary! You broke this. All the love for you Jo. Congratulations!!!! Extra points for @msevylynch because they are the most perfect cat. & # 39;

Emma first met Jo when she auditioned for Harry Potter at the age of nine.
With the support of the author of the beloved books, Emma was cast as Harry & # 39; s friend and Hogwarts classmate Hermione, with Daniel Radcliffe playing the lead role and Rupert Grint completing the trio as Ron Weasely.
Emma and Jo worked together from 2001 to 2011 on the eight films in the franchise.
