Emma Roberts prepares to blast through the subway while filming American Horror Story season 12 in New York City
Emma Roberts huddled in a dash through the New York City subway on Tuesday when she was spotted filming season 12 of American Horror Story.
The Aquamarine star, 32 — who recently lit her new flame Cody John at Coachella — rocked a winter wardrobe that included a chunky gray trench coat, a pink beanie, and black boots.
Roberts wore a pair of oversized black shades and carried a brown leather bag as she ran down the subway for a scene.
Emma previously starred on AHS from 2013 through 2019, playing a central role in seasons three, four, seven, and eight.
Season 12 will see her help another A-lister get her own scream queen crown, working alongside the one and only Kim Kardashian.

THR revealed that the show’s twelfth season will be called Delicate, and it will be based on Daniel Valentine’s upcoming novel, Delicate Condition.
The book is about a woman who is convinced that an evil person is making sure her pregnancy does not occur.
THR reports that the season will be written by Halle Pfeiffer, who will also serve as host of the show.
In a statement to THR, AHS co-founder Ryan Murphy said, “Kim is among the biggest and brightest TV stars in the world and we are thrilled to welcome her to the AHS family.”
Adding: ‘Emma and I are excited to collaborate with such a true force in culture.
“Halle Pfeiffer wrote a fun, elegant, and ultimately terrifying role especially for Kim, and this season is ambitious and unlike anything we’ve ever done.”

She’s also the force behind Hulu’s steamy Tell Me Lies — adapting Carola Lovering’s 2018 book of the same name into a hit TV series for the streaming device.
