Emma Raducanu has been warned she risks losing her £9million portfolio of sponsorship deals if she fails to rediscover her winning form.
Raducanu, 22, shocked the tennis world by triumphing at the 2021 US Open as a teenager, but the Brit has since struggled to come close to matching the feat – and that could have a disastrous impact on her commercial sponsorships.
Sponsored by global brands such as Dior, Porsche, Tiffany, British Airways, Vodafone and Evian, Raducanu was the seventh highest-paid female athlete in the world in 2024 according to sportswho claim that the young woman has earned £9 million from her endorsements and £11 million in total.
The star, whose career has been blighted by several injury setbacks, is currently ranked 57th in the ATP World Rankings, 23 places behind British No. 1 Katie Boulter.
According to sports finance expert Dr. Rob Wilson, Raducanu will have enormous difficulty maintaining any of his endorsement deals if he cannot produce positive results on the court.
he said OLGB: ‘If you don’t start winning games, if you don’t go deeper into tournaments, you’re going to have a very difficult time renegotiating or renewing any of those commercial sponsorships and your career could pretty much end in its infancy.

Raducanu won the 2021 US Open as a teenager, but has struggled to reach those heights again.
The 22-year-old, who earns £9million from business deals, poses for luxury car brand Porsche.
“(It would) be a real shame because she is a hugely talented person and also very marketable.”
Raducanu earns approximately £100,000 each from his deals with Nike and Wilson, as well as £2 million from both Dior and Tiffany & Co.
Meanwhile, Raducanu’s deal with Vodafone is believed to be the most lucrative at £3m, with British Airways also contributing £1m.
Her sponsorship packages with Porsche, Sports Direct, Evian and HSBC are unknown, but the 22-year-old was initially awarded a 911 Carrera GTS Cabriolet worth £125,000 as part of her deal with the luxury car brand.
However, MailOnline exclusively revealed how Porsche snapped up its “pride and joy” vehicle in October.
‘Emma no longer has a Porsche. They removed it. “It used to have a place of honor in his house,” a source said before a company spokesperson confirmed the matter.
Last month, Raducanu posted a photo of a new Porsche on Instagram, apparently having been gifted a new one.
A positive note for Raducanu is that he is moving in the right direction since his return from injury, having risen noticeably up the rankings since falling to world No. 303 in April.

Pleased with her rise up the rankings of late, Raducanu told BBC Sport this week: “Sometimes I need to be reminded: I’m in the top 60 and I’ve played less than 15 events, which is quite unheard of.” I have to congratulate myself on that.’
Despite missing the Olympics and suffering a disappointing first-round exit at the US Open, Raducanu finished 2024 on a relatively high note by winning all three of his matches at the Billie Jean King Cup to guide Great Britain to the semi-finals.
Confident she can continue to climb the rankings next year and compete for more honours, she added: “I know I’m a dangerous player. I know that no one wants to take my name out of the draw.
“I take pride in that and I hope to stay on the court longer next year.”
