She revealed that she can’t listen to some of his songs, especially the ones about her, without sobbing.

Specifically, the 28-year-old social media influencer told her longtime friend and podcast co-host Brittany Ednie that she watched the video for Somebody Save Me, her father’s recent collaboration with Jelly Roll.

“It’s a cool video. And it’s fun to watch videos from when we were younger,” he said.

On Somebody Save Me, Eminem raps, ‘I’m sorry that I chose drugs and put them above you / I’m sorry that I didn’t love you enough to quit.’

In the video, footage of Hailie’s childhood appears with her siblings Alaina, 31, and Stevie, 35, as Eminem looks on.

Eminem raps, “Hailey, I’m so sorry I wasn’t there for your first guitar recital,” he raps as she is shown playing a pink acoustic guitar as a teenager.

He also shares his regrets for not having walked her down the aisle when she got married and for having missed the birth of her first child.

Eminem, who battled prescription pill addiction in the past, has been sober for 16 years.

She continued: “Between that and Temporary, I mean, I can’t. I cried audibly, I think for both songs, but especially for Temporary.

The Slim Shady artist dedicated Temporary to his daughter and addresses her eventual death in the song and urges her to move on and be happy.

Mockingbird is another song Hailie can’t listen to without crying. “The older I get, the less I can listen to the songs,” she said.

“It’s a cool video. And it’s fun to watch videos of us when we were younger,” he said.

She also gained perspective on her childhood and credited her parents Eminem and Kim Scott for protecting her from the unpleasant parts of their lives at the time.

“I will say that, watching the video again and listening to the songs, I feel like my parents did a great job growing up and I didn’t realize how bad things were,” she said.

“But now, as an adult, looking back, it’s really scary to think about that. And I think that’s why I get so emotional, just thinking that that could have happened,” she continued.

“Obviously that’s the point of the song, but I will say that if you’ve ever lost an addict or a loved one, I feel for you and that’s how I feel about it.”
