Eminem fans are furious after the rapper voiced his support for Democratic candidate Kamala Harris alongside former President Barack Obama in Detroit.
At a campaign event in his hometown, Slim Shady, 52, took the stage and took a subtle swipe at Donald Trump, expressing his support for Harris and saying she would not seek “retaliation.”
He then introduced Obama, who came on stage and rapped lines from Eminem’s Grammy-winning song ‘Lose Yourself.’
Some of the musician’s fans, including Tesla boss Elon Musk, expressed their displeasure with the rapper’s appearance.
At a campaign rally in Detroit, Eminem subtly attacked Donald Trump and expressed support for Kamala Harris before introducing Barack Obama.
Musk, who has famously shown support for the Republican candidate, said the ‘Love The Way You Lie’ singer had been associated with Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, who faces mounting allegations of sexual assault and rape.
“Another participant in the Diddy party,” Musk wrote on X.
One enraged fan further criticized: ‘I grew up obsessed with Eminem. Like everything I’ve heard for years. Unfortunately, he’s now a pathetic loser. The same guy who wrote all these songs about anti-establishment, going against the grain.
‘Just to turn into a little sheep and do what you’re told. There are many cases like this.
Another added: “This is the same guy who rapped about killing gays with a chainsaw, Vicodin, cutting up his wife in front of his daughter, his disdain for his poor white audience and being beaten by a bisexual pedophile named Ken Kaniff.” (from Connecticut). And he supports Kamala.
‘Taking out Eminem was embarrassing in itself, but on top of that, he gave the worst speech of all time. 1 minute and 21 seconds of written garbage,” another X user chimed in.
“Eminem being on stage telling people who to vote for was a lame attempt by the Kamala machine,” another added.
Instead, some Eminem fans have shown their support for Slim Shady and highlighted his previous anti-Trump statements.
“(It’s) funny to see some people pretend to be surprised by this, the last time (T)rump was president (E)minem released an album where the cover was him with his palm behind the flag ( A)American,” one fan recalled. .
Another noted: “There was never a time in Eminem’s career where it would have been surprising, people just don’t listen to rap.”

Others called Eminem’s appearance a historic moment.
“This means a lot to him because Eminem doesn’t go anywhere he doesn’t want to be,” one person wrote, while another added: “Everyone brings Eminem here at political rallies.” That’s how you know it’s serious business.
The ‘Superman’ rapper’s appearance also sparked a ‘rap battle’ between Trump and Obama.
On Tuesday night, Trump called Obama ‘a moron’ as the former Democratic president mercilessly mocked the Republican Party candidate.
Trump attacked Obama at a campaign rally in North Carolina, saying the Democrat seemed “exhausted” and “didn’t care at all” about the country.
“I think he’s a real jerk because I’ve seen him campaign for the last few days,” Trump said.
“During the last few days I have seen him campaign. What a divider it is. He divides this country. He and his small group of people couldn’t care less.
Meanwhile, Obama took hits of his own during his Detroit rally with Eminem.
Obama hugged Eminem after the Detroit rapper introduced him at a rally.
‘I mean, who sells products when they’re running for president?’ Obama commented.
He’s trying to sell you gold sneakers. He’s trying to sell you a $100,000 watch. It says it’s made in Switzerland, but no one really knows.
Throughout his speech, Obama continued to attack Trump.
“It’s good to be back in Michigan, it’s good to be back in the Motor City,” the former president said. “I heard there was another rally here Friday night, but it was a little smaller than this one,” he added, clearly trying to spite Trump.
Obama continued to mock Trump for selling products during his presidential run.
“My favorite is the Trump Bible,” the former president said with a laugh, hinting that it was probably not made in the United States. “He’s the tough guy in China, except when he can make a few dollars.”
Meanwhile, Trump claimed that Obama had no desire to defend Harris at all.
‘The reason they’re taking him out is because he doesn’t even want to do it. I think it’s out of stock. “I saw him speak and I think he’s exhausted,” Trump said.
‘He looks a little older, doesn’t he? Know? There is nothing wrong with that. But it’s out of stock.
Obama also criticized Trump for some of his recent antics, including an awkward appearance in which he danced to music.
Trump called Barack Obama “a moron” while Obama mocked the size of Trump’s rallies.
‘He will give speeches of about two and a half hours. Just a word salad,” Obama said. “You don’t know what the hell he’s saying.”
The other day he had a meeting at the town hall. I have had many public meetings and the point is that you are supposed to listen and then answer the questions of your constituents. About 45 minutes in, you just say, ‘You know what? I don’t feel like answering questions anymore,'” Obama said. “And then he just played music for half an hour.”
“He’s up there swaying to the beat of Ave Maria and YMCA,” the former president continued.
Obama was referring to a Trump rally at the downtown Huntington Place convention center on Friday night.
Trump’s microphone failed for more than 15 minutes and the 80s song ‘Eye of the Tiger’ played over the public address system.
