Emily Ratajkowski has been met with fierce backlash from social media users after she shared a photo of herself carrying her three-month-old son – as some people suggest she holds on to as an “accessory.”
A series of photos shows the American model holding her baby son Sylvester – and the couple wearing matching swimsuits – while on vacation with husband Sebastian Bear-McClard to celebrate her 30th birthday.
Although Emily is off Instagram comments, critics flocked to Twitter to criticize the way she held her baby boy, with users insisting he had no neck support.

The photos show the new mom carrying her son with one arm and holding him on the side of her body to show off her vibrant blue and orange thong bikini from her Inamorata line.
Little Sylvester wore a pair of matching swim trunks, which may mean the model was a baby line in the works.
“Bye eve with the dream vacation partner,” she captioned the image.
In some of the snapshots, she holds Sylvester with one arm to her chest as she poses for the camera. The little boy’s head is lobed to the side and his feet are dangling.

A Twitter user shared a side-by-side photo of Emily carrying her child alongside a snapshot of her carrying a dog, asking, “Why is she holding little helpless creatures like a textbook?”
The tweet has racked up more than 140,000 likes and nearly 9,000 retweets in less than 24 hours.

Others, however, were less interested in her baby and more curious about how she had achieved such a skinny figure just three months after giving birth.

TikToker user @emgracedawg went so far as to review Emily’s photo and joke about her baby, “It’s a cute purse.”
