EMILY PRESCOTT: Lady Elizabeth Shakerley’s ‘rather useless’ will

As a party planner, the late Lady Elizabeth Shakerley was known for her attention to detail and hosted many successful soirées for her cousin the Queen.

Unfortunately, his meticulous nature wasn’t replicated when it came to his will, and now his only daughter, Fiona Burrows, has had to turn to an heir-finding company to help locate some mysterious beneficiaries.

Some of the names are recognizable, such as Lady Gabriella Windsor, who is among the 19 godchildren set to inherit £1,000.

But the flaw in the will, which was drawn up by lawyers for Lincoln’s Inn, is that it failed to provide contact details for some of the lesser-known beneficiaries.

Neil Fraser, a partner at Fraser and Fraser, tells me the will is “legally perfect,” but the lack of contact information makes it “pretty useless.”

Looks like Adele wishes she was back in North London for a Tottenham game instead of California for a basketball game!

The Spurs fan was seen looking somber with boyfriend Rich Paul in San Francisco watching the Golden State Warriors against the Dallas Mavericks.

But it wasn’t all doom and gloom, as the denim-clad singer enjoyed a joke from her man during the game.

Polo team loses star treatment

If polo is the ‘Sport of Kings’, why aren’t all the women who play for England treated like royalty?

I only ask because when the women’s team, with star player Millie Hughes, went to Argentina for the world cup, polo’s governing body didn’t pay for flights or accommodation while the team was there, but gave them a pair of white breeches and a vest each.

The team won bronze in their competition, so surely a great British success story deserved better.

When I met Millie, 20, who is preparing for London’s Polo In The Park event next month, she said: “It’s a very male-dominated sport.”

The governing body, the Hurlingham Polo Association, tells me: ‘For the Women’s World Championships in Argentina, we paid all the entry fees, we supplied the equipment and all the horses were paid for while they were there. We do not cover accommodation or flights.’

Millie is channeling her concerns into her college dissertation… on diversity and sexism in women’s sports. How appropriate!

Forget designer goggles: model Sarah Lysander thinks swimming goggles are the must-have look this summer.

But Sarah, right, whose best friend is pop sensation Dua Lipa, has a practical reason for recommending them: The glasses are a brilliant way to put an end to itchy eyes during hay fever season.

Despite traveling the world and modeling some of the world’s most famous brands, 26-year-old Londoner Sarah doesn’t forget her roots: “I will never part with the good things in life, like fish and potato chips!”

Crush of the week… Sarah Lysander
