Putting a baseball cap over her blonde hair was always Princess Diana’s strategy when trying to go incognito.
Now Elizabeth Debicki, who won plaudits for her role as the late princess in the Netflix drama The Crown, appears to have borrowed the technique. But both are too famous to miss.
The Australian-born actress, 33, was spotted wearing a red baseball cap during a shopping trip in central London with her unlikely partner Kristian Rasmussen. They are notoriously private and have not spoken about their relationship.

Debicki appears to have copied Diana’s ploy by attempting to go undercover
The couple were seen smiling as they walked through Marylebone, before catching the tube.
Little is known about Kristian, who does not have a social media profile.
Unlike her role as Diana, she will soon play a 1980s porn film director in the horror film MaXXXine.
Kristian prefers to participate in showbiz events separately from Elizabeth
The couple was first seen holding hands in London in November 2022.

Kristian reportedly avoids the spotlight so much that he prefers to participate in showbiz events separately from Elizabeth.

Naomi Campbell has cut ties with her A-list friend Sean ‘P Diddy’ Combs amid her fight against sex trafficking allegations. Naomi threw a lavish birthday party in London for the rapper last November.
Now sources say she feels used because Combs didn’t warn her that a scandal was brewing.
Naomi, 53, was previously named in court documents as one of the celebrities who flew on pedophile Jeffrey Epstein’s private jet.
Rosie is taking advantage of her beauty
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has joined investment firm The Equity Studio
Model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, 36, can add the term “city chic” to her CV.
The face of M&S has teamed up with investment firm The Equity Studio to help back new wellness and beauty brands.
In January, I revealed that Rosie’s own “clean” beauty firm, Rose Inc, had sold at auction for £1.9 million after its US parent company, Amyris, filed for bankruptcy.
Let’s hope that everything with the latest adventure is a little more rosy!
Amber sees red for copycat
Guangsheng Huang has set up a London-based company in the name of Amber Le Bon
Model Amber Le Bon may have a style all her own, but that hasn’t stopped a Chinese businessman from apparently trying to imitate her.
Guangsheng Huang has set up a London-based company in his name to sell products online and by mail order, but without his permission.
I alerted the 34-year-old to the issue after I saw Amber Le Bon Limited had just registered at Companies House.
When I congratulated her, she replied: “Anything sold by Amber Le Bon Ltd has absolutely nothing to do with me and Guangsheng Huang may be about to fraudulently use my name or image to sell things.”
Even billionaire John Caudwell has limits to his generosity. The founder of Phones4U tells me that his son Jacobi wants a Rolls-Royce for his 20th birthday, but he may be disappointed with the result.
“I’ve got him a little Rolls-Royce,” John, 71, tells me, pointing to a miniature toy car.
‘But he’ll have to do more for society than he does now to earn it!’
Jacobi has a long way to go to look like his father, whose dance last week raised £1.2 million for the Caudwell Children charity which helps autistic and disabled young people.
Georgia: I’m really serious.
Georgia May Jagger is behind two companies: May Botanicals and Bleach London
Model Georgia May Jagger has complained that no one takes her seriously as a businesswoman.
The 32-year-old daughter of Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger and supermodel Jerry Hall is behind two companies: skincare brand May Botanicals, which she launched in October, and hair dye range Bleach London, of which she is co-owner.
But she says everyone thinks she’s just the face of the brands.
Georgia explains: ‘I think people assume, because I’m a model, that my businesses are just an endorsement or something. “It’s been a little bit more of a challenge to show people that I’m serious.”
Simon Mayo’s 31-year career at the BBC was eventually tarnished by the way he was treated by Radio 2 bosses – but that didn’t stop his children following him through the doors of Broadcasting House.
Speaking on the Parenting Hell podcast last week, the host revealed that two of his three children now work for the Corporation.
His daughter Natasha commissions podcasts for Radio 4 and his son Joe is a QI researcher ‘elf’.
Clearly neither of them paid attention to Dad’s comments that working for the BBC was a “soul-destroying” process and involved jumping through hoops to get a program approved.
On stage… it’s Douglas Tercero
Dylan Douglas will star in an upcoming play called Seagull Variations
Many children of celebrities hate the ‘nepo baby’ label that draws attention to their parents. But Dylan Douglas, son of actors Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas and grandson of Kirk Douglas, has no complaints about his lineage; In fact, he is reaping the fruits of inheriting his talents.
The 23-year-old will star in an upcoming play called Seagull Variations. And his parents are delighted that he is following in their footsteps.
Catherine commented on the rehearsal photos she posted online: ‘Very good. I am very happy to be able to see you in the work.
Freud falls out of love
Bella Freud used this model in her clothing campaign. One fan said: “This image is deeply disturbing.”
When fashion designer Bella Freud split from her husband, author James Fox, in 2017, she took up with Taz Fustok, a Notting Hill artist more than 20 years her junior.
But I can reveal the relationship has now ended and Bella, 62, is dating again. My spy spotted her getting cozy with a mystery man in a central London pub last week.
Perhaps it’s a welcome distraction from the backlash brewing over the emaciated model Bella wore in her clothing campaign. One fan said: “This image is deeply disturbing and from another century.”
