Elvis Presley’s legacy is celebrated in a Christmas special Christmas At Graceland, produced by his granddaughter Riley Keough
NBC has announced it will produce a live Christmas television special to celebrate Elvis Presley’s legacy.
According to PeopleDuring Christmas At Graceland, several musical guests will participate, who will perform a holiday-themed tribute to the late hitmaker.
The special will mark the first time a holiday special will be filmed at Elvis’ estate in Memphis, Tennessee, whose private life was recently discussed by his former wife Priscilla.
Christmas At Graceland currently premieres November 29 at 10 p.m. ET, and the special will also be made available for streaming on Peacock after it airs.
Christmas At Graceland will also serve as a follow-up to NBC’s long-running Christmas in Rockefeller Center special, airing at 8 p.m.

Details about the musical performers for the program are currently being hidden from the public.
Presley’s granddaughter, Riley Keough, will be one of the special’s executive producers.
The 34-year-old actress released a statement to express her excitement for the upcoming project.
She said, “My family and I are thrilled to open the doors of Graceland in this one-of-a-kind special.”
Keough, whose mother was the singer’s only daughter, Lisa Marie Presley, added some information about what would happen during the special.
“With intimate musical performances inspired by my grandfather Elvis’ cherished Christmases in Memphis, viewers are invited to experience firsthand the magic of Christmas at Graceland.”
NBCUniversal Media Group’s Executive Vice President of Live Events and Specials, Jen Neal, released a statement of her own to express her gratitude to Keough and her loved ones for opening Graceland up to the special.
“We thank Riley and her family for allowing us all to visit her grandfather’s iconic home and share an intimate musical experience that Elvis would have truly enjoyed,” she said.

Presley previously released a holiday-themed album in October 1957 entitled Elvis’ Christmas Album.
The artist waited fourteen years before producing a sequel, Elvis Sings The Wonderful World of Christmas.
The hitmaker previously teamed up with NBC to create a Christmas special in 1968.
The project, since commonly referred to as the ’68 Comeback Special, helped revive Presley’s career at the time.
Christmas at Graceland airs on NBC on Wednesday, November 29 at 10 p.m. ET/PT.
