Elsa Pataky reveals surprising way she chooses new movie projects – after husband Chris Hemsworth announced he’s taking ‘time off’ from acting
She is a loving mother of three, an actress and the proud owner of nine horses.
And now Chris Hemsworth’s wife, Elsa Pataky, has revealed that she’s weighing up which movies to star in depending on how long she’ll be out of the saddle.
Pataky, 46, a Magic Millions global ambassador for show jumping, shares her passion for the sport in the December issue of Fashion Australia.

“It’s gotten to the point where I’m being offered a project, I think, ‘Wait a minute, this means I can’t drive for a month,'” she told the publication.
Elsa explained that before she had to think about how an acting role fits her children, but now she has to think about how it fits her three children and the horses.
Elsa lives in a $30 million mansion in Byron Bay with her Marvel superstar husband Chris Hemsworth and their three children — daughter India Rose, 10, and eight-year-old twin sons Sasha and Tristan.
“It’s got to the point where I’m being offered a project, I think, ‘Hang on, this means I can’t drive for a month,'” she told the December issue of Vogue Magazine Australia
It comes after Chris revealed that he will be taking a break from acting to spend time with his family after discovering he is at risk for Alzheimer’s disease.
He told Vanity purse he’s decided to take “time off” after filming a confrontational episode about death in his new Disney+ docu-series Limitless.
“Doing an episode about death and facing your own mortality made me think, ‘Oh God, I’m not ready to go,'” he said.

“I want to sit and be in this space with a greater sense of stillness and gratitude. And then you start talking about kids and family.
“It really triggered something in me to want to get away from it all. And since we finished the show, I’ve finished the things I was already contracted to do.”
Chris said he has decided to take “a lot of time off” with his family.
Earlier this month, while taping his new show Limitless, Chris Hemsworth revealed that he discovered he is genetically predisposed to developing Alzheimer’s disease.
