‘Well done’: Chris Hemsworth’s wife, Elsa Pataky, had to escape through a car window on Monday after driving into a flooded road in Byron Bay
She was accompanied on the fateful road trip by her children and friend Luke Zocchi, who has long been her husband’s personal trainer.
Despite the dangerous situation, Elsa managed to remain positive while documenting her escape on Instagram, where she has over 3.8 million followers.
The Fast and the Furious star shared a video from the driver’s seat showing the murky water surrounding the car.
Oh dear! The 44-year-old Spanish actress, who has lived in the coastal town since 2014, told her Instagram followers that she was ‘so sure I could cross’
“A little too optimistic? I was so sure I could cross, “she endorsed the clip in Spanish and English before adding,” Help me! ‘
Elsa followed this up with another video in which she was told, “I was stuck. Awesome. Oh god, oh god what am I doing. ‘
Then she uploaded a video scrambling out the window and then safely wading through the water, adding, “My only option … through the window.”
A final video showed Luke and several other men preparing to tow the vehicle.
The footage was probably shot in Byron Bay, where the Hemsworths own a $ 20 million mansion recently hit by heavy rain.
Chris and Elsa recently returned from a holiday in Rainbow Beach, Queensland, with their three children, daughter India, seven, and twin sons Sasha and Tristan, six.
