The couple, who were set up by their agent in 2010, tied the knot in just three months – a whirlwind romance that often spells doom for celebrities, but turned out to be an opportunity to solidify their love and grow together.

“At first it was beautiful,” said Pataky, 47. Vogue Australia.

“When I met him, he wasn’t known at all and I grew up with him and experienced all of his successes and changes, and then he became so big and I’ve been sharing it too.”

Pataky spoke openly about the unique challenges of transitioning from obscurity to fame, especially dealing with the pressures of marriage and raising children.

‘We did everything very quickly; I don’t know how we survived as a couple. We got married and a year later we had children,” she said.

‘It puts a lot of pressure on a marriage, but we turn out well because there is a lot of love between us and we are very strong personalities but we love each other a lot. We make it work.’

Hemsworth, known for his role as Thor in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, has also spoken about their instant connection.

“From the first time we met, we made sense,” he said.

The couple welcomed their first child, a girl named India, in May 2012.

In March 2014, their family expanded with the birth of twins, Sasha and Tristan.

The Hemsworths have since settled in the picturesque seaside town of Byron Bay, making it their permanent home in 2014.

Hemsworth too reflected on the challenges of his early years in a 2017 interview with GQ magazine.

“My wife and I fell in love, had kids, didn’t see each other for a few years and then fell in love again,” he said, acknowledging the strain of balancing a burgeoning career with family life.
