Elon Musk’s trans daughter has shared a harsh response to her father’s claims that he was “tricked” by the “awake mind virus” into allowing him to transition.
Vivian Wilson, 20, posted on the site of X’s Arch Vial Threads, owned by Mark Zuckerberg‘s Goalin response to comments made by his father earlier this week.
In an interview, Musk said he was tricked into giving up his son Xavier, using Wilson’s old name, to allow him to take puberty blockers.
Referring to Wilson using male pronouns and by his birth name, Musk claimed his “son” had been “killed by the waking mind virus.”
Wilson responded to that question on Thursday, challenging a tweet from her father that claimed she was born “gay and slightly autistic.”

In an interview, Musk said he was tricked into giving up his son Xavier, using Wilson’s old name, to allow him to take puberty blockers.
Musk said he knew from a young age that she was gay, that she would “pick out clothes for me to wear, like a jacket, and tell me I was fabulous” and that she loved musicals.
Wilson said: ‘There are a lot of things I need to debunk, but I want to start with what I find the funniest, which is the famous ‘slightly autistic’ tweet.
“This is going to be a bit of a stretch so bear with me. This is completely false. Literally none of this ever happened. Ever. I don’t even know where he got this from.
Wilson wrote that she had never liked musicals or theater and also responded to her claims about choosing clothes for her father.
She said: ‘I never picked out jackets for him to wear and I certainly didn’t call them ‘fabulous’ because literally, what the fuck?’
‘I didn’t use the word fabulous when I was four because again I’d like to reiterate… I was four years old.
“This is so obvious I don’t even think it deserves an explanation, but apparently people believe this nonsense, so here I am.”
Wilson added that her father made up these claims because he was not around her when she was a child.
She claims Musk would relentlessly harass her for her “femininity and homosexuality.”

Vivian also added that she was legally recognized as a woman in the state of California and that her father was “determined to seek attention and validation.”
In a scathing finale, he wrote: “He’s desperate for attention and validation from an army of degenerate incels and criminals who are quick to give it to him. Go touch some weed.”
In a separate video, he said he was fine and had been formulating a response for his father.
The father and daughter have long had a contentious relationship, with Musk calling her a “communist” and thinking “anyone who is rich is evil.”
In his interview this week, Musk called what happened to him and his family “evil,” saying: “I was basically tricked into signing paperwork for one of my oldest children.
“This was before I understood what was going on, and we also had COVID, so there was a lot of confusion. I was told that Xavier might commit suicide.”
Asked about gender dysphoria, he added: “It’s incredibly evil and I agree with you that people who promote this should go to prison.”
The Tesla CEO has long had a contentious relationship with his daughter Vivian Jenna Wilson (pictured in 2022), though that was previously due to political disagreements.
Wilson added that her father made up these claims because he was not around her when she was a child in her post on Threads.
“I was tricked into doing this. I was not told that puberty blockers are actually just sterilizing drugs.
“Basically, I lost my son. They call it ‘deadnaming’ for a reason. The reason they call it ‘deadnaming’ is because your son is dead, so my son, Xavier, is dead, killed by the progressive mind virus.”
Deadnaming is the term transgender people often use to refer to being called by the name they used before they began transitioning.
Musk said his right-wing awakening was driven by this process and by the deception he claimed was played on him.
“I pledged to destroy the progressive mindset virus after that and we are making some progress,” he said.
The South African billionaire is said to have fathered 12 children in the past 22 years and has spoken publicly about his view that the world is underpopulated.

Elon Musk’s family continues to grow, 22 years after his first wife, Justine Wilson, gave birth to their first children
He had his children with three different women: Canadian writer Justine Wilson, Vivian’s mother, musician Grimes, and his employee, Shivon Zilis. His youngest son, with Zilis, was born in 2024.
Wilson legally changed her gender to female and her name from ‘Xavier’ to Vivian Jenna Wilson in 2022, though she revealed in court documents that she ‘no longer wishes to be associated’ with Musk ‘in any capacity’.
Vivian filed the petition just three days after her 18th birthday, though the court documents were not made public until the day after Father’s Day.
In a tweet posted the night her daughter’s petition was granted, mother Justine said: “I had a strange childhood,” my 18-year-old daughter told me.
“I can’t believe I look as normal as I am.” “I’m so proud of you,” I said. “I’m proud of myself!”
Meanwhile, on Father’s Day, Musk tweeted before his remarks were revealed: “I love all my kids so much.”
She was a reserved woman and was not seen in public until several months after her request was granted.
Vivian reportedly came out as transgender via text message to her aunt when she was 16, but implored her not to tell her father about her gender identity: “Hey, I’m transgender and my name is Jenna now. Don’t tell my dad.”
Musk said during an interview with the FT in 2020 that while his relationship with his daughter “may change… I have very good relationships with all the other (children).”
“You can’t always win,” he added.
More recently, he told his biographer that his attempts to woo her have been unsuccessful.
